Smoke From Yosemite Fire Prompts Air Quality Advisory For Monday

As a wildfire grows in the southern portion of Yosemite, the Bay Area is expected to see and smell smoke on Monday, according to the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.

The air district issued an air quality advisory for Monday, though the pollutant levels are expected to be in the moderate range. Air quality will not worsen beyond federal health standards, said the district.

The district reminds Bay Area residents to stay inside with windows and doors closed if they begin to smell smoke. Those with respiratory illnesses, children and older adults are encouraged to take extra precautions.

The State of California is in the business of wildfires, homelessness, anti-capitalism, and progressivism. In other words Socialism. Strengthening the State over the individual.

Advisory is not the same as demand. If you enjoy the smoke then you should be happy to keep your doors and windows wide open. But you don’t have to if you rather not. You are not demanded to keep them all closed – or opened.

Basically Hell

California …the once Golden State is dying a slow rotting death. and all the strange people coming in just don’t care. Thanks Newsom!

Well you know Newsom is planning to run for president! Insiders say he’s planning to tell voters that he will do for the country what he has done for California. And he expects to get elected on that? What’s beautiful wonderful lifestyle State of California is now a laughing stock to the rest of the country.

Progressivism to Socialism…….The downward spiral.

@Badge1104,
My bigger fear (at least in the short term) is that Biden could fail to complete his current term for whatever reason, Harris would become President, and she could then appoint Newsom as VP. Then we’d be you-know-what.

“Stay inside with windows and doors closed.”

At least we had at 2 years worth of practice.

Broadbent can stick it where the sun don’t shine as far as I’m concerned.

You cannot fight these fires from the ground. We need more and larger aircraft. Most importantly is they need to get the larger aircraft to the fire faster before they grow. Lock up arsonist for life.

I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit It’s the only way to be sure.

I’m visiting family in Oaklahoma – and I am seriously considering NOT returning to California.

Returning to California would be like returning to the scene of a crime before it has been cleaned up and secured.

I just watched a smoke model on KPIX. It’s not going to be on the ground around here.
