I think I saw them the other day at Taco Bell enjoying a burrito.
Hey there Happy 4th of July everyone.

This case and the DB Cooper case are a couple of times I’m actually rooting for the criminals. Both unsolved and show great resolve on the part of the culprits. Frank Morris and the Anglin brothers were in prison for bank robbery and previous escape attempts. These days I’d be surprised if they would serve any prison time at all. I would think the FBI has more pressing issues to investigate than trying to solve a 60 year old mystery.
The FBI concluded that they did not survive and closed the case in 1979. They turned it over to the US Marshals.

Absolute waste of resources. I would imagine there are more than enough cases right now that should be solved.

This became somebody’s hobby. Doubt if they’re alive but if they are, “Put ‘em away for Life!” They should actually receive an award for not getting caught after so long. Wonder how their victims feel about all this.

All the thought, planning, work, and risk they took escaping, and apparently they’ve been keeping their nose clean, if any of them are still alive, leave them alone. They earned their freedom.

I never give these guys much thought…. I guess they may place in my top 10…. Subject to my own debate….

The Feds will do anything to avoid having to search for the people who attacked Federal Buildings (dare we call it insurrection?) or damaged Pro-Life facilities. They are the Gestapo of Animal Farm.
J6 committee is falling apart. This was an inside job. Sgt. in arms was murdered. He stated it was an inside job then he was shot in the head. Now the “damaging’’ witness they just had testimony is falling apart. It’s a bias one sided committee. The pro life facilities will go untouched.

I like to think they made it and lived happy, healthy, and free.

I think it’s time we the agencies wasting our money. I‘ve been hearing about this since I was a child. (Decades) even have been to Alcatraz. They need to let it go.

My dad used to tell us about a time when he was driving his boat by Alcatraz Island around the night of the escape. He got a little too close to the island, had the spotlights shined on his boat and a warning saying you are too close leave or get shot etc etc. Then as he hightailed it out of there, and got further out to sea his propeller hit something. The engine stopped momentarily trying to restart, and then all was ok. He thought it was a sea lion or something…….but he used to wonder if it was one of those escapees?
In the old guy pictures they’re all frowning.
They escaped, they should have smiles!
I think the old guy on the right was the hit man with a shotgun, in “Bullitt”
They’ve lived quietly If they’re still alive, so I suggest they get pardons and $25K each to come forward and tell their tales.
