The building that formerly housed Snap Fitness on Marsh Creek Rd. in Clayton (behind Ed’s) will soon be a coffee, ice cream and frozen yogurt shop called Sip ‘N Sweet.
According to a sign on the door, the shop will open this month.

It might turn out to be a good place, but I don’t like the name. Not impressed by their logo either.

hahaha…you mean the place that’s barely ever open and the owner is totally rude? It will be nice to have a coffee place in Clayton with normal hours

No, it’s not a chain. I saw it’s a local family owned business. I’m excited! Clayton needs more things like this. I’d personally rather spend my money locally.
What goes around comes around. The very first business that went into this location years ago was a ice cream/candy shop.

I thought the first business in that spot was a cowboy/cowgirl shop……clothes, saddles, etc.
Saddle shop was there for years. Ed’s Mudville was the site of the old ice cream and candy shop.
What Clayton needs is a really GOOD coffee shop- my husband asked if they had oat milk- the owner said yes- then proceeded to use soy milk and when my husband asked about it- he said “it is the same thing”- ummm no- and he was served his coffee ☕️ In a styrofoam cup…

Totally agree. I assume you’re referring to Cup ‘O Joe, which is possibly the worst coffee shop I’ve ever been to. A place with good coffee, good wifi, and a friendly face behind the counter would go far in Clayton. Hopefully this spot fits the bill.

I wish a good Breakfast, Mexican, Chinese Restaurant would open in the empty building at Center and Oak St. That bottom corner location has been empty for years.
Some friends of mine had made a deal with the buidling owners to open a yogurt shop in that corner spot a few years ago. Even signed a contract. The building owners backed out stating they wanted a mexican resturaunt to move in. The place is still vacant.
Sip N Sweet ??? terrible name. might as well name it The Fluffy Unicorn.
Buck up Clayton ! Give the name something a little more Rustic and well you know. how about some better names here below.

This sounds amazing!!!! Finally something new…. Yogurt Shack has the most rude employees who cant be troubled for anything – I asked for a spoon and it was the most annoying question ever to the girl! Looking forward to supporting this new business
