I felt it. It woke me up. I hate quakes.

Absolutely. It felt like a very large truck drove very close to my house.

I live in Concord, Sun Terrace area… absolutely felt it, quite a significant shake!

Yes felt it North Concord.

Yup. Woke up here.

Woke me up, felt the bed shaking. Clayton.

Woke me up in Martinez

Hard shake out here in the Delta…. dang! I didn’t need to get up for another hour… oh well, might as well start some coffee.

The Epicenter was just north of Snag Island and just east of Freeman Island.

And as I’m writing this, a 1.6 just popped up on the southeastern corner of Snag Island.

Yesireee felt it in Walnut Creek I thought it was just me but then I noticed my daughters light was on. She felt it and didn’t want to go to sleep without the light on.

Sure did. A good shake. Was up early at the desk. Cat ran out of the room. Poor kitty. 🙂

Yep, sure did.

Was in the shower and felt nothing…course I’m a little tipsy in the morning anyway. 🙂 My wife did. She came into the bathroom and said “what did you do”

My apologies everybody…………
Morning Wood!

Felt it. A brief, but strong shaking.

… oh yes.. quite a shaker!

Felt it in Concord.

Sure did. It made me a little sad as I was reminded how my 90lb German Shepherd would try to climb on top of my head during earthquakes. She was a great dog, it’s so sad when they pass on.

@The Fearless Spectator…My last dog, Tasha, was a GS and she would stare and bark at the floor. The best dog I ever had, many years ago.

Oh yes, it woke me up as well. I’m on Ayers road, this was the strongest quake I have felt in my 20 years living in Concord. The strongest I felt was when we lived in San Diego, the Northridge quake was the only time I got out bed and stood in a doorway.

Its surprising that this is the strongest you’ve felt in 20 years. I know we’ve had stronger quakes. Its just funny how people outside of California are so terrified of earthquakes, meanwhile, people ask us if we felt the quake and we either sleep through it or don’t even notice because we’re driving.

Yes. I heard something, so I tuned in. It gave us a good rattle. Shake shake shake 10 to14 times. Got the usual adrenalin rush. A milish from the library.
🙂. Nothing broken.

My dogs must have thought someone was breaking into the house. They flew off the bed barking and growling.

Maybe GAWD is trying to tell you sinners something. 😉

That darn 6th sense was at work this morning just before it really hit felt something was about to happen. It did. Live near Clayton Concord border it was strong to say the least. Glad it was not worse. Guess Biden and Newsom will blame the climate change for this to and raise taxes for something else non sensical.

Climate change, covid, Putin, & Trump are the excuses the Democrats use to blame everything on… everything but themselves and their faid policies.

I’m pretty sure this one was caused by white supremacy.

I woke up at 5:07 am. It felt like a vibration, turned over and went back to sleep. During my formative years living in San Francisco, there were earthquakes 4 or 5 times a year. I got so used to them that they don’t even faze me much anymore.

We haven’t had a good shaking in awhile. I’m expecting a Big one soon.

Nope. I’m really beginning to wonder if there’s something about the spot where this house is located. Knocking for a wood spirit

Felt it North Concord. Knocked a couple of wines bottles off wine rack in back house. Main houses wine supply was undamaged. It was a good shake.

Yes, but it did nit feel like a quake: no jolt, no roll, just a loud almost wind like noise. Thought it might be thunder. Our parrot didn’t freak which usually happens.

I felt it I had been awake about 10 minutes my dogs were not even phased. It was a jolt didn’t last long.
