..anybody know where they had the DUI set-up?

Didn’t read the article; did you?

S – is there a link I missed? it only says patrol… 🙁

Great Work CPD.

Now why not patrol for red light runners, reckless driving and speeding ….. so much of it seen every day

Uber it. 13 grand is a lot of dough. How much is that mayor going to pay?

Get out of jail free card courtesy of the taxpayers

You just have to be charged to be fined? What about doo process?

Randy, I read the same article as you did. S must know something that we do. Either that, or S is just blowing “smoke”.

+1

fight some real crime

How many homeless criminals were arrested? How many illegal camps encampments did the police drive by and ignore? I had to call 911 Friday night for a fire being started by Chili’s. The 911 operator acted like I was wasting their time. I said it’s a arsonist starting a fire do something!

+1 .. I’ve had a similar reaction and from the non-emergency numbers… they interrogate you like you did something wrong… then very reluctantly take a report

A “dui enforcement ” is where officers are on patrol, looking for impared drivers, a “dui checkpoint” or “set up” as S referred to, is a fixed location where they screen passing motorists.

Driving drunk it no joke, if said driver ends up killing or maiming somebody it is a real crime, and it ruins many lives, including the drunk driver and possible his/her family. On another blog about the Mayor of Antioch everyone is for throwing the book at him, which is fine, I assume those who suggest that is not the same who on this blog, seem to think driving drunk is no big deal.
Just because police or Highway Patrol is trying to catch drunk drivers, I’m sure they are still capable of catching other criminals.

i apologize to anyone who has lost someone due to drubk driving for my insincere comments, but i am not sorry to the poor excuse of law enforcement concord pd provides.

dont worry about me off to take my meds now, since meds are gonna magically solve all of concords scum
