A series of fires along State Route Highway 4 near Pittsburg on Sunday morning that appear to have been intentionally set have been extinguished and authorities are looking for a suspect, a spokesperson for Con Fire said.
The three small fires were allegedly set along Highway 4 near the intersection of San Marco Boulevard, the spokesperson said. The fires required two engines and a battalion of 12, Con Fire said.
At least one witness has provided a description of the suspect to authorities; Con Fire and the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office are actively seeking the person.
No description of the person is available at this time.

It’s like the same arson suspect for the last two “flare ups” is back at it again after being arrested twice already 😑 if he is caught and released again and causes damage to someone’s home or property the city should be held liable cuz at this point it’s negligent too allow them to be free.
A description would be very helpful. I have had 6 intentional fires that have put my home in danger in the last two years. I am constantly on the look out.
Why? So they can say that they are “searching”…….. so they can do a catch & release.

Last week we called in a guy building a little kindling pile of dry grass along eastbound Hwy 4 just before Loveridge off-ramp. About 9:00 am in broad daylight. No fire was set and they were gone before CHP arrived in area. But definitely suspicious looking dark completed tall and skinny male. Probably same guy.

Mary Knox sounds good. If you want to see who not to vote for look at the recommendations of the EBTimes. They recommend Becton for DA.
The current no bail system was instituted by California voters who believed it was wrong to keep people in jail who had not been convicted of a crime because they were poor. Diane Becton does prosecute crimes. In fact she started the human trafficking team that Mary Knox is so proud of working on. Diane Becton cleared out the back log of rape kits in the county so that rapes could be prosecuted. She does make use of drug and mental health courts as well as diversion programs so that courts don’t get backed up. When arrests are made, she prosecutes.
…again… they can find the drugged out homeless perp in one of the camps in area = again, how long do we have to put up with this cxxx before someone gets hurt or killed and we can stop the hundreds of thousands of $$ this is costing us …. fix this LE!
Like Derg said, anything bad happens, loss of property or injuries to an individual, sue the county and Becton personally.
I watched a couple of campaign commercials on becton and it states major funding by George Soros. That says it all. Get rid of her we need Mary Knox.
