Road construction in the residential neighborhoods south of Treat Blvd., near Woodside Elementary School is now underway.
Concrete services from toscanconstruction.com/ has recently begun saw cutting and demolition work for concrete improvements, including curb ramps and curb/gutter repairs.
Construction is expected to be complete in August.
Streets selected for pavement maintenance are adjacent to Woodside Elementary, including Graymont Circle, Barrymore Drive, McKean Drive, San Simeon Drive, and Citrus Avenue.
Along with the paving work, the project will construct curb ramps to meet accessibility standards, adjust utility covers in the roadway, and restripe pavement markings.
Drive safely in the area.
Whatever happened to the much-touted and little used machine that was supposed to fix potholes and improve roads faster and cheaper?
I’ll bet it’s sitting in the Maintenance Yard collecting dust.
Work is being done on concrete, not asphalt. “demolition work for concrete improvements, including curb ramps and curb/gutter repairs.”
What about Cowell Rd and Treat Blvd too?
