Will PG&E turn off the power? Or, burn a few towns down?

Maybe both?

The stage is set:

Two fancy cushions left out where they will lure huge rain droplets.

And an additional attraction:
Large rattan rockers left facing all directions of the compass so that the wind can reach max force and propel certain ones across the deck. (Sorry, no raffle tickets this time.)

Let’s see…… didn’t do a rain dance this time (too sore from planting flowers nabbed during my raid on Sloat’s).

Do we have a volunteer to wait until about 3a and put a homemade angel food cake into the oven? Follow-up question: any of you ever had an angel food cake transform itself into pancake glue after you have separated out 11 egg whites and beaten them FOREVER?

Good luck, men!

45 MPH strong???? That’s just a breeze. Try gust of 65-70 MPH if you want to talk strong. Couple of weeks ago it was so bad here I was waiting for my roof to blow off or at the very least see Toto fly by

We hardly had a breeze here at the house. The real treat was that there was a gentle-to-moderate sprinkle here from about 9:30p until 7:30a… no run off, no new transplants beaten down…. BEAUTIFUL!
And now brilliant sunshine!

Antler
We finally got the rain around 8:30pm and it went until midnightish. Still have a chance this morning and there are some really dark clouds out my windows. Whole things is suppose to be out of here by mid-afternoon

Glad you got at least a little bit of rain on that side of “the big hills”, too. We had about another 1/4” here during the night, and the plants are LOVING it!
