Warmer weather is in store for the region on Tuesday and Wednesday and some areas in the North Bay and on the San Francisco Peninsula could see record temperatures, forecasters said.
A high pressure system settling over the region already began warming the Bay Area on Sunday and Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
The forecast for inland areas on Tuesday and Wednesday calls for morning lows in the mid 40s to low 50s, with afternoon highs in the low to mid 80s.
Along the coast, morning lows will be in the upper 40s to low 50s, and in the mid 60s to mid 70s during the afternoon.
Bring on the heat!
Nooooooooo! Bring on a good rainstorm with some hail and drop some snow on the mountain. 🙂
Yessssss!
And contrary to popular hysteria, there is nothing you can do to stop it.
Now hold on there, Exit 12A…….dems claim the climate can be controlled if only we would give ’em enough money…….you know for all them ‘spensive plans they have?
Where is the news here … ??? … back in 1985, we seniors at CVHS would cut class and the gang would assemble at Rock City with a pony keg on Diablo … easily 85f days in February … just another high pressure system blowing through NorCal … no big whoop.
I planted my grass seed at the right time. It’s doing great.
Now if we can get some decent rain, it’ll be knee-deep in no time.
