…god job LE… but why not release the name & picture of the perp? oh….

I’m sure there’s a reason LE hasn’t released his name or photo, and not for the reasons YOU think.

Wonder what it is about Safeway that bugged this person.

… he was caught shoplifting and caused a scene

Possible terrorist in training. Practice ramming a businesses doors with vehicle loaded with explosives. Wonder what his future target was going to be? Great works Pleasant Hill and Clayton PD’s.

whack – another nutjob

… on drugs I bet

I can hardly wait to find out what his motive was.

…. retribution? he was caught shoplifting and caused a scene

Maybe. You don’t know, since they didn’t release his name. We’ll find out after the investigation is completed.

Hi Hid mane is sant released nor was it mentioned he was shoplifting, curious where you are getting your info?

Put this looser in jail!

Once again, name and picture.

The presumption of innocence is a legal principle that every person accused of any crime is considered innocent until proven guilty. Under the presumption of innocence, the legal burden of proof is thus on the prosecution, which must present compelling evidence to the trier of fact.

@Brig – The presumption of innocence only applies to members of the jury at a criminal trial. Law enforcement, prosecutors, the judge in the courtroom, the media, and the general public, can all assume and act as though the perp is guilty.

Also, the constitution does not say that an individual is entitled to the presumption of innocence. You might want to read that article about the constitution that you linked to.

Well if the IRS is after you, they presume you are guilty and it is you that must prove your innocence.

Is the Pontiac safe?
Was it hurt?

More details at 11.

He was obviously a very happy and thoughtful gentleman who always thinks of others!

“has been arrested for making a destructive device” okay, but I hope he is also being charged for using his car to damage Clayton Safeway, and destroying several garage doors. Lets hope Safeway and others step up and press charges. He needs to be locked up!

Just put him on a bus to Portland, he’ll fit right in there. Those Antifa guys are probably in need of a good explosives man.

Sorry to burst your bubble but . . .

Property damage is not what is going to get him sent to prison. The vandalism charges will be a bargaining chip for the DA’s Office when they do their lets make a deal conference. Even if they do get charges he will get a concurrent sentencing anyway.

If he gets prosecuted in Federal Court they won’t even be charged.

Why not publish his picture and name? He is a criminal and caused citizens distress when he damaged their homes?????

One less psycho on the streets.

Seems like we are living in a war zone with killings daily and barriers being put up !
