Ridiculous BS from a politician, reduce taxes and less government are better…

So much money and nothing will get better. Amazing how we spend until millions on things and society degrades worse and worse. People shave the money from these things with administrative costs to pay their family and friends.

On an a somewhat related note all these spending sprees will come to an instant halt if the US loses its reserve currency status.

China is going to start trading oil with the Saudi’s using yuans instead of dollars.

If the US loses the petro dollar, we are Venezuela in 24 hours so spend the money while you can to get what you want now. With the way joe Biden is bringing down this country we’ll be wiping our butts with $100 bills before the next inauguration (if there is one).

Democrats: if you like spending money on pet projects you need to get your stuff together. If the petro dollar goes into the history bin we’re all going to be killing each other just to get toilet paper, except this time there will be no restocking of the shelves.

Great.. since apparently we can just print money why even pay taxes, yeah?

How about money to help dredge Martinez waterfront. Then they could rent the slips out and make it nicer while making some money for once. It would be better used than some of that junk it’s going to.

Wow – a lot of mental health services. I predict nothing will change. And what’s up with Beale Airforce Base?

I can’t help but wonder how much of the money will actually make it to the projects it was meant for.

$2 million for the Crow Canyon Road Iron Horse Trail Bicycle-Pedestrian Overcrossing;
$1.1 million to expand Contra Costa County’s Mobile Crisis Response Team;
$1 million for Contra Costa County to develop a crisis hub to provide mental health services;
$1 million for Veterans Memorial Buildings Improvements in Contra Costa County;

This is a perfect definition of political pork.

A lot of money that doesn’t in itself do anything.

A great opportunity for kick backs.

More debt.
.

Might be worse than that.. maybe just printed paper that ends up devaluing the dollar.

It must be nice to SPEND OTHER PEOPLES MONEY!!!!

why not some fund to provide seniors and disabled that can not drive the ability to order food delivered without having to pay the crazy fees. I rather have my taxes go towards subsidizing something like that than ANY of the things on this list they are doing…..

Maybe expand Meals on Wheels?

Think of all these government parasites, sitting at their government jobs all year, scheming & cooking up more horse crap to justify requests for even more money. It’s a whole parasitic class feeding off us. All government is theft.

The payoffs for officials following orders and mandates continues…

Political favors for this cycle have been paid. Thanks taxpayers!

Meanwhile, the potholes in our roads worsen. Where did the money go to fix our roads in Concord?

…didn’t see any $$ for desalination plants, rain water retention facilities, etc…. … as said before… more pork for the politicians to puff up on for their constituents

Bring back the Spirit Poles

That would be awesome!

Establish a Corn Snake sanctuary at the Weapons Station Park.

Only thing you forgot was an olive garden

How about free endless bread sticks at the Olive Garden.

Think about how stupid and what a scam this…except for federal projects, which except for work at Beale, were there any? And this is where the stupidity and the scam happens: taxpayers get fleeced, those monies flow to the federal govt, only to be laundered then sent back to the states, counties, cities, etc.

And for the idiots who cheerlead this nonsense, did you see Saudi Arabia may start accept Yuan for oil sales to China? If that happens we are on the fast track to the END OF KING DOLLAR, the only thing which has propped up our insane spending, deficits, and debt…it all goes poof bye-bye if the petrodollar bites the dust.

Biden…I did that !
