- Marsh Creek Rd./Regency Dr. Take Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent/Vehicle Theft; Warrant. A 20-year-old Oakland male was arrested after being contacted by officers. Take Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent/Vehicle Theft; Warrant. His 18-year-old female passenger from Oakland was also arrested. They were transported to Concord Police Department for booking. (02/26/22 – 2047 hrs.)

They be Hip hopp’in in a stolen car…..there must be a sampled song about that……..
“Take vehicle” is that the same as car theft?
Is “Take Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent” the PC way to describe stealing someone else’s car now? Good thing they follow it closely with “/Vehicle Theft” so we can understand what they’re talking about while our new phrasing settles in.
“Take” is a very aggressive and divisive word, separating those who have from those who need. A better phrase would be “guide vehicle without owner’s consent.”
