Two Loaded Pistols Found During Traffic Stop In Concord – Suspects Arrested

A Police Officer was on patrol in North Concord on Wednesday evening when he made a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle, which led to the arrest of two suspects.

During the officer’s investigation, CPD K9, Nikki, alerted the officer to the presence of contraband in the vehicle, according to police.

A search of the vehicle led to the discovery two loaded Glock pistols, one of which was a “ghost gun,” which is a gun without a serial number.

The occupants of the vehicle were arrested on several charges, according to police.

Oathbreakers violating our right to bear arms, claimed that suspects were apprehended with loaded firearms; however, the photos clearly show 2 unloaded firearms.

Also they used the phrase “ghost guns,” which is a slur for legally homemade firearms; however, no photos appear to show a homemade firearms–they’re just standard Glocks.

Don’t blame the Police.

Blame the people who wrote the laws that they have to enforce and the people who don’t prosecute criminals.

I hope the other charges are significant.

The first thing the police do with a gun is unload it. Ask your lawyer about guns without serial numbers.

@H
I’m pro firearm, but there maybe more to this story. Once the arrest is made the officers secure the weapons, thus unloading them. As for the serial number, it can me removed with common house hold tools thus making it a ghost gun. Untraceable.

Gun on the left is a Glock, gun on the right is not.

Lighten up, Francis. Lack of a magazine doesn’t mean there is no round in the chamber. In any case, it is at least possible the guns were rendered safe before pictures. Ghost glocks are a thing too. Where do you see the serial number in the photo?

It appears the firearms were either properly stored in the trunk of the suspect’s vehicle or were moved to the back of a law enforcement vehicle prior to taking the photo.

Also, the article mentions the arrest of two suspects and “the occupants of the vehicle were arrested” but does not mention what they did with the third person that’s visible in the photo.

Always pics of the weapons. Never the perps. Proof, I believe, that the guns are responsible!
Just like the one that leaped into Alex Baldwins hand, and shot that poor woman.

The one on the right is a Polymer 80. Basically a Glock, but you have to finish it (cleaning, drilling, etc). Takes a standard Glock slide, dependent on which model you go with.

If only there was a law……….hmmmm.

You have no clue what you’re talking about. There was no violation of their rights in this case. If there are laws regarding firearms and you don’t adhere to the law, they have every right to arrest you. These two were obviously criminals and the guns were definitely loaded when they were found.

yeah, a legally homemade gun. A “Ghost Gun” is just a concept made by people who violate our right to bear arms.

All gun control laws are infringements.

I’m triggered … get it?

…..just don’t pop off😀

KTVU2 just broadcast, “Guns are the leading cause of premature traumatic deaths”, as well as carjackings resulting in 2 deaths.
So, the guns didn’t like the people or carjacked the cars?

So the guns CAUSED the deaths and the carjackings?

Mine must be very well behaved.

More irresponsible reporting by news readers. We don’t have journalists anymore….

Leading cause of ALL DEATHS is refined sugar and sugar products.

.. good job Nikki

Nice work CPD. 108RS

Good dog Nikki!
What are those ‘flashlight’ looking things by the barrel?

They’re low quality light/lasers.

> Nikki, alerted the officer to the presence of contraband

To what contraband did Nikki alert the officers? Firearms are not contraband.

Could be a couple of safety-concerned, otherwise law-abiding citizens, is all. Now-a-days many are taking matters in their own hands.

So…if you remove the serial number/V.IN. from a motor vehicle is it a “ghost car”?

First thing is to check ballistics to see if they have been used. I assume they will do that.

If “suspects” are caught red-handed, why aren’t their names and/or pictures not publlished? Does it differ by county?

All gun control laws are infringements?

So you really think that anyone should be able to own or possess any and all type of firearm?

A person convicted of a violent crime such as murder, rape or robbery should be able to have a firearm? A person who threatened to kill their significant other and has a DOMV restraining order against them are good to go? How about someone here in the US illegally? They should be able to have a firearm as well. How about a nutjob or someone who is clearly mentally disturbed? Surely they too should have a firearm. How about a child? Cannot have any age limits.. right?

FYI the gun on the right in the picture IS NOT a Glock frame. The magazine release cutout and the texturing is all wrong.

If you are carrying a gun with the serial number tampered with you are going to jail. end of story.
