Clayton Police are responding to a robbery at Walgreens in the Clayton Station Shopping Center on Clayton Rd. at Kirker Pass.
Police say the suspect, who is described as a white male in his 20s wearing a black shirt, was stealing hair products and hit an employee on his way out of the store.
No major injuries were reported.
The suspect was last seen running towards Safeway.

The police has come to their senses this time and has given a physical description of the robber although not as detailed. Is it because it happened in Clayton?

Notice that a “white male” was immediately identified. We never see a “black male” immediately identified. Guess it’s not “woke” to say “black” immediately.

This would be classified a theft until someone was injured. I believe the assault may have classified the crime as a robbery. Lot of variables involved. This most likely was a theft and and an assault instead of a robbery.
It (Petty Theft) becomes a “Robbery” with the use of force or fear. Pointing a gun real or threatened, a note, assault, etc.
Isn’t it legal now in Kalifornia to take stuff as long as it is less than $1k usd?

This happened last Tuesday at the Walgreens in the Encina shopping center.
Oak Grove and Ygnacio. I was able to take photos of the vehicle a Silver Mercedes SUV ML 350 Cal. 6LLF055 before it left the parking lot with two women carrying over $5000 of stolen items. It’s my understanding, that Walgreens didn’t even report it, until WCPD responded to the citizens calls.
The natives are getting restless.
Rumor has it he accosted a woman in the parking lot and attempted to fix her hair……….
He may be a lather, rinse & repeat offender!
