BOOYAH! February 22, 2022 - 12:22 PM - 12:22 PM

Certainly not militarily – no.

Roz February 22, 2022 - 12:50 PM - 12:50 PM

@BOOYAH!

+1

Badge1104 February 22, 2022 - 12:43 PM - 12:43 PM

Not militarily.
You got to wonder what’s going to happen though, cuz remember, Joe Biden and his son Hunter have some shady money making interests in Ukraine.

Roz February 22, 2022 - 1:29 PM - 1:29 PM

@Badge1104 ~
Yes, Thank You for sharing the info.

Clive February 22, 2022 - 4:37 PM - 4:37 PM

Yes of course – and don’t forget Donald Trump was impeached for pressuring Ukraine to interfere in the US elections, and Paul Manafort, who worked with Ukraine went to jail…

To Do List February 22, 2022 - 12:52 PM - 12:52 PM

No, except to offer a forum for discussion and compromise. A huge danger is Biden trying to overcome his horrible reputation and making matters worse to show how tough he is. Every president except Trump seems to think they need their own war for reputational reasons. US or other soldiers should not die so Biden can change the public’s opinion of himself. He also has no understanding of risk management as shown by Afghanistan. It is clear from his agreeing with “Let’s Go Brandon” in his photo-op that he is not in full control and is being fed information to tell narratives. My answers would be different if Trump were president, but then if Trump were president, Russia would not be invading. See how that works.

Concord Guy February 22, 2022 - 2:09 PM - 2:09 PM

That is a complete and total partisan misread of the situation through a Trumpian lens. Trump did his best to destabilize NATO. Biden, who has extensive foreign policy experience, reversed that damage in the first year of his presidency. The crisis is being handled competently from the US end of things.

To Do List February 22, 2022 - 3:18 PM - 3:18 PM

Mr. Guy: Thank you so much for your thoughts. I am aware of your writings and political views, and while I do disagree with some of your conclusions, you know absolutely with zero doubt that Biden could not even win a game of “Sorry” against you. So, crediting Biden with rearranging foreign policy in Europe is funny.

Janus February 22, 2022 - 3:19 PM - 3:19 PM

@ Concord Guy

Funny replay and you probably don’t even understand why.

Well Folks February 22, 2022 - 3:57 PM - 3:57 PM

Ding Ding Ding & BINGO!

Well Folks February 22, 2022 - 4:08 PM - 4:08 PM

If tRump was president he would not send weapons to Ukraine and would give Vlady his blessing to invade and take over Ukraine.

inmotion February 22, 2022 - 4:46 PM - 4:46 PM

Your boy called Putin’s invasion of Ukraine “genius” and “very savvy” and referred to him as a “peacemaker”, but whatever.

Doh February 22, 2022 - 4:59 PM - 4:59 PM

“Trump praises Putin’s ‘genius’ incursion into Ukraine” is today’s headline based on what Trump said on the right-wing talk radio program “The Buck Sexton Show,” Trump is still Putin’s lapdog and “useful idiot.”

Anew February 22, 2022 - 5:07 PM - 5:07 PM

@Doh. Trump kept the Russians at bay. Biden is a disaster.

From Red State:

The stock market collapsed today, wiping out almost a year’s worth of gains for retirements and investments. Gas prices will skyrocket, and home energy prices aren’t far behind. The middle-class is being slammed, and Biden is laughing it up while doing some ridiculous green energy summit with Gavin Newsom. Does this man NOT have advisors?

Biden gets asked an obvious question about Putin, and he starts smirking and picking at his teeth, while staring blankly for over 20 seconds. It was an incredibly odd scene.

https://bit.ly/36nIe5A

Dr Jellyfinger February 22, 2022 - 6:01 PM - 6:01 PM

Doh! ~ Trump never said he approved of it…. that’s just the way all the left wing sites spin it.
Did you notice they all used the exact same headline?
They spoon feed you the narrative… they tell you what to think.
Maybe you should actually listen to him yourself!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTf-J1eOO7E

JWB February 22, 2022 - 7:10 PM - 7:10 PM

“almost a year’s worth of gains for retirements”

So Biden has been your President for more than one year. I’m glad that you appreciate all he has done for your retirement in that year. Maybe you should write him a nice thank you note?

Original G February 22, 2022 - 1:03 PM - 1:03 PM

“involved” ? ? A token number of US military personnel sent, verbose ramblings as world laughs at biden, harris and pelosi.

A simple “Ukraine will not get into NATO” and this mess would have been over. Now the Russians are in the Ukraine and we have sanctions from Joey and bet your last dollar Putin will beat him again. Since the fall of the iron curtain the military industrial complex has kept the cold war going. It wasn’t called the cold war but it was. Too many Republicans and Democrats are hawks and refused to let normal relations with Russia proceed. They are all looking forward to making money off of defense contractors now and when out of office.. Just look at the fuss and lies they put up when Trump and Putin met.

Martinezmike February 22, 2022 - 3:31 PM - 3:31 PM

My only concern is that Putin could take over the worlds supply of Ucrainium. Then we could be in real trouble.

Well Folks February 22, 2022 - 4:13 PM - 4:13 PM

Ricardoh
You are so wrong. Ukraine is a sovereign nation and should join any organization that will let them join. Vlady can just shove it up his flabby Russian azz if he doesn’t like it. What you think Poland, Croatia, Czech Republic or Slovakia should not have been allowed to join NATO because until the 1990’s the had Soviet puppet governments.
Best thing NATO can do is send covert forces into Russian and assassinate Vlady. The world would be far better without him and his KGB pro-communist ways

Ricardoh February 22, 2022 - 5:01 PM - 5:01 PM

Well Folks Well who is wrong? Russia just invaded Ukraine and Biden put the hex on a couple of Russians and a Russian bank. Had they said they will not join NATO the Russians would have gone home. You are having pipe dreams. You don’t seem to realize how much Russia does not want the useless NATO on their border. No one is going to take out Putin. NATO is one huge useless organization that can’t get its act together. They are good at spending our money though.

concord grape February 22, 2022 - 1:08 PM - 1:08 PM

No and stop giving them aide (money) like we do to all the countries that hate us.

Edward Ringue February 22, 2022 - 1:10 PM - 1:10 PM

Why stop now?
Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs “Toria” Nuland was the “mastermind” behind the Feb. 22, 2014 “regime change” in Ukraine, plotting the overthrow of the democratically elected government of President Viktor Yanukovych while convincing the ever-gullible US mainstream media that the coup wasn’t really a coup but a victory for “democracy.”
Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs Victoria Nuland, who pushed for the Ukraine coup and helped pick the post-coup leaders.

We should be nowhere near the Ukraine, yet here we are. Same old lies by the same old liars.

Bruh February 22, 2022 - 1:11 PM - 1:11 PM

Nope. We need to get our house in order.

Also, Europeans need to start defending themselves. They talk a lot of mess about the US and love to brag about “free” healthcare, all the benefits they get etc..all because they don’t need a defense budget thanks to all the US bases and support. A country of 10 million people in Europe that pays practically nothing for defense can do a lot more with other things while they’re e leaning on the US. They’re leaning on us and inching ever closer to full blown communism. What the hell kind of a deal is that for us?

Watch these Europeans change their tune if they got cut off and needed to develop their own military overnight. I don’t care what the past agreements were post-WW2 and post-cold war. Times have changed and they need to grow a pair again and start facing things on their own. Tired of us suffering so Europeans can take 2 month long holidays and talk smack to us on social media and we STILL come to their aid with our military.

Pookie February 22, 2022 - 1:12 PM - 1:12 PM

No, Biden(his peeps really running the show) are distracting everyone while at the same time trying to dispose of allllllllllllllllllllllll the evidence of his/his family/everyone ties/bribery/blackmail/etc to Ukraine. They need to worry about our US borders and domestic isues before he tries intevening in other peoples.

The Mamba February 22, 2022 - 1:46 PM - 1:46 PM

No, I don’t want our men over and possibly risking WW4. Those countries East of Germany were never supposed to be part of NATO. The problem is, China will see that and take Taiwan next.

Well Folks February 22, 2022 - 4:15 PM - 4:15 PM

Mamba – Ea Germany has not been it’s own country since 1989.
All the former Soviet occupied countries are now free and sovereign nations and should be allowed to join any and all organizations that they wish to.

Gremlin February 22, 2022 - 1:52 PM - 1:52 PM

Absolutely not. We need to be focusing on our own southern border. Looks like borders only matter if they are somewhere else.

Rebel February 22, 2022 - 2:13 PM - 2:13 PM

NATO should match Putin’s move by placing troops in Ukraine, and let him be responsible for any conflict.

Also, instead of sanctions, use cyber weapons to bring down all of Russia’s electric grid, gas pipe lines, internet, etc, and jam their Glonas and communications satellites.

Randy February 22, 2022 - 4:05 PM - 4:05 PM
Well Folks February 22, 2022 - 4:06 PM - 4:06 PM

YES!

Ricardoh February 22, 2022 - 7:33 PM - 7:33 PM

You guys have been playing too many computer war games. What Eastern European country is worth NYC and Washington DC flattened and contaminated for the next few thousand years. Get real NATO will do nothing. Stop the bravado.

Well Folks February 23, 2022 - 8:25 AM - 8:25 AM

Oh Ricardoh you fail again
Get out a map and take a looky. Vlady would not attack the east coast when the west coast is a much closer target. Bases in Alaska would be a big hit. And then he could get the tech industries in Seattle, SF & LA. It’s a bigger prize than NYC or DC.

Ricardoh February 23, 2022 - 10:47 AM - 10:47 AM

Well Folks my globe reading skills are fantastic. Have you ever heard of over the North pole route? I thought not.

Well Folks February 23, 2022 - 1:49 PM - 1:49 PM

Ricardoh

West coast tech is this country’s biggest asset

To Do List February 23, 2022 - 2:22 PM - 2:22 PM

NY and DC are centers of commerce, finance, and government and their loss would be traumatic. West coast tech will give you the latest version of Resident Evil.

JWB February 23, 2022 - 3:49 PM - 3:49 PM

Why are you guys arguing about this? Any attack on the US would be devastating and unacceptable.

The Observer February 22, 2022 - 2:17 PM - 2:17 PM

In 1991, the Soviet Union came apart in what Putin has called the greatest geopolitical tragedy of the (20th) century. Putin, a veteran of the KGB, is determined to restore Russia to its former power. So far, he has seized a substantial part of of the country of Georgia in the Caucasus. Then he took over the Crimea, until then a part of Ukraine. It’s now clear that he plans to take over the rest of Ukraine. I think it’s clear that his next targets will be Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. After that, who knows? The rest of eastern Europe? It seems to me that finding ways to help these countries defend themselves is in our interest.

Well Folks February 22, 2022 - 4:16 PM - 4:16 PM

The Observer
BINGO!!!!!! You get a prize for being able to think

94521 February 22, 2022 - 4:37 PM - 4:37 PM
Ricardoh February 22, 2022 - 7:44 PM - 7:44 PM

The Observer Unless you are military age and ready to join one of their armies I wouldn’t talk about US troops wasting their lives there. Not one of those countries has a chance of defending their country from Russia no matter what we give them.We need a leader that is a capable person not the buffoon we have in the WH. You sit down and you say this is our problem what is your problem and you work out the differences without threats and calling the other guy a killer (like Joey called Putin) or making idle threats. Biden and crew are amateurs.

SAM February 22, 2022 - 8:52 PM - 8:52 PM

Maybe Ukraine should have registered their borders. Unfortunately for you they are still part of Russia. Ain’t nothing anyone can do about it. If biden starts a war, I’ll stop paying taxes

April February 22, 2022 - 2:27 PM - 2:27 PM

So, no one in the US Government recalls anything that happened during WW1 and WW2? “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

Bob February 22, 2022 - 2:32 PM - 2:32 PM

Ukraine will fall, Taiwan will be next, and the only thing preventing us from becoming a pile of ash will our status as a Chinese de facto territory.

The 250 year “Curse of Empires” strikes again

Paul February 22, 2022 - 2:49 PM - 2:49 PM

Yes. All these dramas of sanctions and counter sanctions are getting old. Could someone just pull a trigger for an all out war and get it over with. Let go to the mattress cuz we need to get out some bad blood.

Bobfished February 22, 2022 - 3:32 PM - 3:32 PM

All this going on and our president gives a press conference but will not answer any questions! What kind of leader is that!

Sandy G February 22, 2022 - 3:32 PM - 3:32 PM

No. And we shouldn’t be sending them 50 billion dollars, when we don’t take care of our own people here in the US.

Worried February 22, 2022 - 3:46 PM - 3:46 PM

Sure would be nice if whoever is in charge of our country was half as concerned about our borders as they are about Ukraine’s borders I sure do miss mean tweets

Well Folks February 22, 2022 - 4:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Bob
You must be a history buff like my father was. He use to say all “great empires/nations” have a 200-300 year shelf life. Our time is up

Bob February 22, 2022 - 6:04 PM - 6:04 PM

I think someone wrote a book chronicling the supporting evidence behind that theory, but the title & author escape me at the moment.

Well Folks February 22, 2022 - 4:05 PM - 4:05 PM

We do not have the troop power to take on Russia. We are a volunteer military and they are a conscription military. We might be able to match them weapon wise but will never be able to match the man power. Putting all of NATO together will never be able to match the man power.
Only thing I can think of to do is freeze and seize all Russian assets in the US regardless of what they are and who they are in bed with and deport all Russians that are here on green cards or work/education visas

Randy February 22, 2022 - 4:10 PM - 4:10 PM

yes….. Putin is trying to rebuild the USSR & take the Arctic – maybe more- against the wishes of the separated countries for more than 20 yrs… China is watching Putin’s playbook closely so they’ll be taking Taiwan if we don’t do anything – and looks like we won’t, Iran will get nuclear capability and they’ll go after Israel, NATO gets involved, Russia comes to Iran’s aid…. China goes after the Koreas & Vietnam , Japan …. sounds like WW3 unless “somebody” can stop this Russian madness now. ….any wagers out there?

Well Folks February 22, 2022 - 6:01 PM - 6:01 PM

Randy
NATO needs to send in an assassin to take care of Vlady. I suggest they contract a Mossad assassin as they are the best. Only way to stop Vlady is to kill Vlady. Sadly the US will never approve of a move like this as we don’t have the balls for something like that

Randy February 22, 2022 - 6:50 PM - 6:50 PM

…. well folks +1 ..can our CIA talk to…. hmmmmm

Well Folks February 22, 2022 - 7:25 PM - 7:25 PM

Randy
I would have Britain handle the contract with Mossad. The Brits don’t have a bunch of nosy nit-wits running interference like we do

Cellophane February 22, 2022 - 4:16 PM - 4:16 PM

There wouldn’t be an issue like this if America had competent leadership.

This administration is a rolling train wreck.

It fails at everything it does.

No. America should not be militarily involved in Ukraine or anywhere else.

We should be defending our own borders from a tyrant to the north to an invasion to the south.

Instead, this administration does nothing.

Glen223 February 22, 2022 - 4:48 PM - 4:48 PM

The only things this administration is good at is lying (in general), mumbling/drooling (pedo joe) and …. Well, you know the rest about the ho’s capabilities.

The Fearless Spectator February 22, 2022 - 4:57 PM - 4:57 PM

We already are, and I have zero confidence in our administration’s ability to do any competent strategizing or implementation. Anything they do is reactive and after the fact.

By the way, AOC thinks Ukraine is in Florida.

Aunt Barbara February 22, 2022 - 5:48 PM - 5:48 PM

Best advice. Keep your nose out of other people’s business,
Biden is just like a ugly neighborhood gossip who bakes sweet goodies to those who listen and belileve their side of the story. . .

SAM February 22, 2022 - 6:08 PM - 6:08 PM

Ukraine is a big deep state money laundering operation. Ukraine is NOT part of NATO. Ukraine is about as Russian as Russia itself.

pelosi’s son, biden’s son, kerrys son, romney’s son all work for Ukrainian energy companies.

Ukraine is the single largest Clinton foundation donor.

An enemy of my enemy is a friend.

94521 February 22, 2022 - 6:27 PM - 6:27 PM

“Putin is amazing..” WTF is that!!? That’s some Soviet commie scum talk right there.

SAM February 22, 2022 - 7:25 PM - 7:25 PM

For anyone thinking this is news I did the digging for you.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon made an astonishing statement, the distribution of which is forbidden in Ukrainian media and on the Internet. At the meeting of the UN Security Council the conflict between the two states was raised. The following conclusion was drawn from it:
Ukraine has not registered its borders since 25.12.1991. The registration of Ukraine’s borders as a sovereign state has not taken place in the UN.
Therefore, it can be assumed that Russia does not commit any violations with regard to Ukraine.
According to the CIS treaty, the territory of Ukraine is an administrative district of the USSR. Therefore, no one can be blamed for separatism and forcible change of Ukraine’s borders. According to international law, the country simply does not have officially recognized borders.

You’re welcome. Now back to our boarders and the newly formed communist threat from the north.

The Observer February 22, 2022 - 9:00 PM - 9:00 PM

The United Nations Secretary General is António Guterres. Ban Ki Moon stepped down as Secretary General in 2016.

SAM February 23, 2022 - 3:41 AM - 3:41 AM

Did the point really just go right over your head like that? Thinking is not very kind to you is it? Russia is the chair of the UN. I think Putin knows exactly what he’s doing. There’s a reason Ukraine hasn’t registered their borders, and it’s not your feelings. Watch your boy try and start a war that no support of our allies support. Watch biden freeze europeans with sanctions on natural gas and try to blame Russia.

pelosi, romney, kerry, and biden all have sons working in Ukraine energy. WW3 will be hunters fault. But hey, you can just smoke crack in your biden pipe while it’s goes down.

Ricardoh February 22, 2022 - 7:51 PM - 7:51 PM

Sixty percent of the Russian’s income is from Europe. Tell me why you think Putin would attack Europe. Why would he risk having Moscow and the Kremlin be an ash? He is not stupid. Everybody needs to calm down.

Well Folks February 22, 2022 - 9:03 PM - 9:03 PM

He knows there is no physical risk to Russia as the west will never engage in something that would be a nuclear WW III.
Vlady is extremely intelligent and part of his KGB training was in manipulation and mind control. Every move he makes is extremely calculated and purposeful
The only way to stop Vlady is eliminate Vlady. And that is something that should have happen before he guaranteed his supreme power in Russia. He will not step away from the power. He can not be removed from power by conventional means. The US and Europe has underestimated him for years. Big mistake. He also has more military man power than the entire NATO alliance and he knows it. He also knows there really is nobody to stop him in conventional ways.
So time to get unconventional and eliminate Vlady. Time for the US to be a real leader and eliminate Vlady. Just not sure any country has the balls to do that

Dr Jellyfinger February 22, 2022 - 11:10 PM - 11:10 PM

“Nobody to stop him in conventional ways”?

Time to call Rocky & Bullwinkle!

Well Folks February 23, 2022 - 8:20 AM - 8:20 AM

Just deal with him like he deals with those that oppose him or he feels are his enemies. And since nobody in the US has the stomach for that it will be up to the British to do the dirty work.

SF oh February 23, 2022 - 9:00 AM - 9:00 AM

@ Well Folks – If Putin tries to use “mind control” on Old Joe and Kammy, he’ll have nothing to work with 🤣

Barbie Girl February 23, 2022 - 12:08 PM - 12:08 PM

As it stands, we will lose any war and I fear it will be fought on our soil. Russia, Iran, and China are forming a Trifecta for the next World War. (They have been for years) Our military is now too busy teaching Wokeism. Most young men of military age are physically weak from playing video games all day and mentally weak from parents who control their every move, or teachers who can’t control the natural energy of boys. The Senate’s defense budget includes a provision requiring women to register for the draft to make up for this deficit.
