Concord Police are responding to a Sunday night fight in the parking lot of Dave & Buster’s on Diamond Blvd. in Concord.
The brawl, which started just after 10 p.m., involved about 15 people, according to police.
Witnesses told police the people were using broken glass as weapons.
One person was pepper sprayed.
Only minor injuries have been reported.
Surprise, surprise! We all knew this would happen when we heard Dave and Buster’s was opening up at the Veranda. All it does and will continue to do is bring in the riff-raff.

Hmmm…, I wonder where the “broken glass” came from. You know what? Let them kill each other. And hold off the police and paramedics for an extra 30 minutes before responding. And then provide medical assistance slowly.
This is really a shame. I had been to the Dave and Busters in Milpitas a few times and it was nice and it seemed everyone was well behaved and having fun.
But considering it’s in Concord this is not a surprise. Just shows Concord can’t have anything nice
How were they able to find a parking space? I’ve only tried to go there twice, neither time was I successfully able to find a parking space.
Concord is basically Antioch. This is no surprise. None of these types of businesses should be allowed here. There’s enough trouble in the city already.
Why blame the business. Don’t see this happening at the Dave and Buster’s at the Great Mall in Milpitas. Gee maybe it’s Concord and the type of people Concord attracts. The scuzzies that Concord attracts has ruined the mall and now the Varanda. Didn’t take much time for them to ruin the Varanda did it

Like people have been saying about “no surprises”. It’s really the norm now. We all expected this to happen. Concord or not, it’s really trashy city. No one especially the people that comes to Dave and busters, you can look at the way they are. The way they carry themselves. It’s no class. Veranda first opened and it was clean and enjoyable but now it’s like the second Sun valley mall. Sun valley used to have this really nice atmosphere but now it’s what the young folks call it “Gettho” and it really is.
