The City of Concord will continue its redistricting process at a public hearing on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 7 p.m., when the City Council will review draft plans (maps), which are available for review on the City’s Redistricting web page.
During the Feb. 1 meeting, members of the public and Council provided comments on the draft plans, and the City Council provided direction to the City’s independent demographer on preferred refinements to prepare them for final review and adoption at subsequent public meetings.
The final adopted map is due to the Contra Costa County Elections Division by April 17, 2022.

Same old dog and pony show.
There is no chance that anyone with an R or an I after their name will ever be on the ballot in this corrupt city.
The redistricting has already been approved. The people lose.
The money has already been distributed.
So we agree that gerrymandering is bad for politics and that politicians who engage in it are a blight?
@ Chug
Politics is the vilest game and politicians are the evilest things on this planet.
Gerrymandering only benefits the vilest and evilest things imaginable.
Maybe the city can give clean crack pipes to those doing drugs in the open. That would be. Much better look for our kids to see. This only benefits the Democrats. Then again CA voters are not willing to vote differently.
