Too much rain = fire danger; Too little rain = fire danger. Either way = time to move out of California.

.
Here comes the annual mass hysteria.

People really need to understand, California will always be in a drought. Sometimes it is postponed for a short while, but it will always be back. We need to focus on more ways to save water, enlarge existing reservoirs, new dams, capture runoff, etc. We certainly need this a lot more than a bullet train.

The state was just considering all those things you mentioned and more but received negativity from the environmentalists so I think they shelved it. We are governed by morons.
Just like the small wild fire that has been burning for a week near Monterey, 747s could have put it out in an afternoon.

Stop wearing your masks!!!!!!

Snake Newsom was at a football game without a mask, as we all heard and saw!!!
We must end this ridiculous clown world we’re living in.

Do NOT wear a mask in any business including grocery stores.

We must stop this madness NOW!!!

Unmask your children. Unmask yourself!!

CA has what is called a Mediterranean climate. The ecosystems have evolved over thousands of years to tolerate frequent drought and then recover in the wet years. Look at the oak trees in the area. Are they dying? No, because they are adapted to long periods of poor rainfall.
Climate change is the preferred Marxist control grid because it enables so many command and control possibilities.
What is a real and pressing issue that the marxists are ignoring and probably profiting heavily from is the massive deforestation in the northern Sierra. The clear cuts are recent and go way beyond clearing dead or burned trees. It is truly shocking to look at on a satellite view in your google or Apple Maps.
The Sierra Club has been bought off by Bloomberg to become a woke and politicized advocate for reimagining , blah, blah
Anybody that really cares about the environment should be very concerned about what is going on in the Sierra.

When I first moved here I was told if you have a problem with growing plants give them more water, we live in a desert and 90% of the problems are solved by watering.
And it works!

California is mostly desert. Look at Google Maps and see for yourself how much of the state is desert. The state is green north of Redding, along the coast, and in the Sierras where the rain and snow falls, but the rest of the state is a dry desert. The only reason the Central Valley is green, is because water is transported in from Lake Shasta. If it wasn’t farmland, the Central Valley would also be a dry desert.

.
“… on record.”
.
So, how many years has bay area rainfall been recorded?
.
And how is that figure proportional to a millennium?
.
Is the sample size adequate to draw reasonable conclusion at a 90 percent confidence level?

On record is only about 150 years.

When it comes to weather, that’s a lot less than a nanosecond.
