BART trains are single-tracking through Lafayette on Sunday due to a power cable replacement project.

The work started Saturday night and will continue through 7 p.m. Sunday, according to BART officials.

Riders should expect delays of 15-20 minutes.

Electrical lines and other critical components are being replaced during the project, which aims to upgrade BART’s 50-year-old electrical infrastructure, BART officials said.

Went to a party in the City last night, took Bart with my friends from Walnut Creek to Civic Center, for all the bad publisity about Bart I (we) were pleasantly surprised) no one was unruly, we didn’t feel threathen or worried about anything being stolen, everybody was on their best behavior. We took the last train home. A friend of our that lives in the City, picked us up at Civic Center, and drove to the party, which was on Fell Street. We did see a few homeless people, but nothing as bad as we had been led to believe. Of course that was just one part of the City and we were there waiting for our ride about 15 minutes, but all in all a pleasant experience, and the party was wonderful.

And then you woke up 😀

Glad you had a good experience, Hanne!
I haven’t ridden BART in years (used to, all the time).
Maybe I’ll give it another try.
