Two San Francisco residents and one Oakland man were arrested during what police say was a planned organized retail theft event by a criminal mob at Nordstrom in Walnut Creek last night.
About 80 people all rushed the store and started stealing merchandise at about 9:30 p.m.
Three employees were assaulted. One employee was pepper sprayed.
The three suspects who were arrested were identified by police as 30-year-old Dana Dawson (SF), 32-year-old Josh Underwood (SF), and 18-year-old Rodney Robinson (Oakland). They’re being charged with a variety of crimes including robbery, burglary and conspiracy. Suspect Dana Dawson is also being charged with illegal possession of a firearm by a felon.
Walnut Creek Police investigators are in the process of reviewing surveillance footage to attempt to identify other suspects responsible for this brazen act. If anyone has information regarding this incident, please contact Detective Deng at deng@walnutcreekpd.com.
For the cultural marxists on the board, they’re all black. Now what?
St. Kyle the Kenosha Kid only kills white marxists who are trying to kill him.
Were you there? Did you see ALL of the perpetrators?
Rittenhouse is a callow, stupid, vigilante with no training or experience in riot control or first aid. He didn’t have a first aid kit either. The first 2 people he killed were not armed. The three men were trying to stop an active shooter..
Yes, I was there, I saw it all. I also saw the communications on FB and snapchat.
St. Kyle is a national treasure. I heard him and Nick Sandman agreed on joint custody of CNN and MSNBC.
Vigilante? You gotta stop watching CNN… it makes you look foolish.
Kyle didn’t go to do crowd control.
He was one in a group of volunteers who were ASKED by the owner to guard his car dealership that lost 100 cars to arson the night before.
And what was in Kyle’s first aid kit, his lunch?
He bandaged up a couple of injured people before he was attacked.
You can see his first aid kit in photos… are you blind?
A jury of 12 found him innocent, but you think you know better?
LoL!
Today’s wild eyed, left wing wankers are tomorrow’s journalists.
Well, doh certainly makes the case that having no evidence allows one to personally insult someone (ie, callow, stupid…). That tells me doh (most appropriate, and don’t blame me for your moniker) has no proof, so he/she has to resort to name calling.
The other three were “trying to stop an active shooter?” So let’s see the evidence that supports your theory. If that’s the case, why didn’t you join the prosecution team?????
How do you know what training he did it didn’t have?
You might want to get a refund on the tuition you paid for your “law degree”.
Haw!
Wow they apprehended 3 out of 80 criminals, I guess the donut shops were full of cops while this was going on because they certainly didn’t take their thumbs out of their asses to go confront all these people. How can 25 vehicle just pull up wait around while the store was pillaged and no cops were anywhere to be seen why this was happening that is literally impossible. The cops everywhere obviously are being told not to confront these individuals for fear of public safety of anyone else around The cops have their hands tied they can’t do crap anymore and will not stop this from happening until they start shooting people in the act.
Torcofuel ~ Dude you are way off.
9:30 PM is wayyyy too early for Cops to be hitting the donut shops.
I think you are pretty much right about the rest of it tho.
@Torcofuel How could they have their thumbs in their asses and their hands tied at the same time? Gotta be one or the other. They can’t go in with guns blazing because of the possibility innocent bystanders will be hurt. The people doing these crimes know this and are takng full advantage of it.
So, I’d say it’s more likely the police have their hands tied. To protect the public, the actual police work will have to take another route to apprehension. It may take longer, require more work and skill, and be more frustrating, but in the end the result will be the same.
Hopefully, those three will lead to many of the others.
The police can apprehend all of the criminals.
Will anyone be prosecuted in CCC?
Not likely.
Contra Costa County is a lawless county, thanks to the DA.
Suggest you consider voting for Mary Knox in 2022 for DA. She is an experienced Deputy DA with the know how to do a responsible job for our country.
https://maryknox4da.com/
That’s the thing…. Even if they find the other 77, will the district’s attorney even prosecute. She’s made it clear that if people are stealing out of need she won’t prosecute, or if they’re from a disadvantaged minority ( black) group.
This is not Justice. (Or this is the kind that Democrat politicians and officials want)
Seeing the damage that they’ve done, I may never vote for another Democrat again!
Badge- please don’t even consider it. I am never one to say always vote on party lines, but the dems have absolutely proved to be against anything right and just. It’s crazy out there and we need to take back this country and restore it to the great nation it once was. that will never happen with dems in power.
Get woke, go broke Some could say Walnut Creek invited this. How’s that new police chief working out? Is there the enough focus on diversify hires?
WC did not invite this. It is going on all over the bay area. This is strictly on the perps who should be jailed when caught. If you think WC invited them because it has a good shopping district and good stores you may be right. Weak laws are a much bigger cause.
Very interesting. 2 San Francisco residents and 1 Oakland man.
In San Francisco there are no genders. Also, if a person refers to another person as male or female, in San Francisco, then that person is a non-woke racist.
I have to think the local citizenry will be watching how the DA handles this. Too many incidents in too short a period of time – people are beyond fed up.
Torcofuel, why do you hate cops so much? Maybe you were part of the BLM that attacked Nordstrom on Sat. night. Let me guess, you are from West Pittsburg, Antioch, Brentwood (Little Oakland) or Vallejo.
You have no idea dude Im from a law enforcement family, I don’t hate cops at all just tied of most of them not doing crap about upholding the law whether it be there superiors telling them not to or their own decision to lay low so they don’t get in trouble taking the court etc.
Back in my family’s days of law enforcement they wouldn’t put up with this crap they would be shooting those people that were looting and stealing.
Woke, BLM, CRT, Antifa, this is what started all this BS and softness on crime.
Time to get back to business and at least beating the living sh** out of these people on their way out the doors or when they are found.
No mercy, law enforcement has been grounded.
Torcofuel = Dependapotamus
How does your family being in law enforcement translate to you exactly?
You get all that law enforcement training and experience by osmoses did you?
The fact of the matter is you have no idea what “Back in my family’s days of law enforcement” would or wouldn’t have done in a similar situation. How could you since all your “experience” is hearsay and war stories.
Taco- I understand why you say that. And, I will also add that cops are afraid of doing their jobs because they have been sacrificed at the alter of wokeness. The liberals are out to make cops PAY for doing their jobs and protecting people. Even when it is a totally justified shoot, they still go after the cops. I would not want to deal with that. Of course, they would then not police as they once did. Can’t really blame them when a horde of rabid liberals are looking to blame cops for the activities of rotten criminals.
There’s a video of all the action on gatewaypundit dot com.

Makes you think maybe, just maybe, it’s time to employee the Rittenhouse approach to property protection.
Might also be time to bring back, “Wanted, Dead or Alive”, (The law enforcement approach, not the Steve McQueen TV series.)
Totally agree. When people refuse to live civilly in civil society, we should bring back the Wild West and see how they like it then!

We need more Kyle rittenhouse with all the looting at wc and two Luis Votton locations in SF and Chicago
No mention of the race of the perpetrators so we all know what that means…probably the Amish.
Strange the things I sometimes find interesting:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOfZLb33uCg
these folks were reportabley in 25-30 cars. For the cops that came to this and also to all those side shows in Oakland, wise up. Show up down the streets for all possible exits and lay a bunch of spike strips. The cars won’t get far with 4 flat tires. No chases needed. These cops must not kow how to monitor unsocial media.
Twitter and Reddit (never “censored”)
Yet again, California is the laughing stock of the nation. Great policies, great politicians and great voters…Duh!
The big thing is find out how they organized. Then be ready for their next adventure.
I got raccoons in my yard.
They have no natural predators and no one is allowed to harm them.
They damage a lot of things and walk away free.
Just like criminals in Contra Costa County.
IF the people who wanted to could be armed,
as we are supposed to be,
that alone would deter a great many crimes.
When the (expletive deleted) politicians refuse to protect the people,
refuse to prosecute, and set criminals free, it’s up to the people to take care of things.
When (expletive deleted) politicians create laws that minimalize crimes and
reduce or eliminate lawful punishment for crimes,
it’s time for the people to take care of things.
I believe it’s time for “we the people” to take care of things.
It’s funny. I never need anything from Nordstrom’s.

There appears to be a significant lack of diversity among these criminals.
It’s really quite sad for the merchants who’s patrons won’t bother going to downtown Walnut Creek because they don’t want to deal with this.
Our city Government is weak so it’s likely this will continue; just sweep up the glass and wait for the next one. As Calvera said, “If God didn’t want them sheared, he would not have made them sheep.” Time to watch the Magificent Seven, the real one not the remake……..
If this isn’t stopped and fast all Walnut Creek will be left with is liquor and car parts stores and check cashing places. All the stores will pick up and leave just like CVS and Walgreen are doing in SF. The DA better think long and hard before she lets these people go.
This seems tailor-made to create more Kyle Rittenhouse-like creatures.
Great police work only for those cases to be NCFd by our great DA, Diana Becton.
BLM just got payback on white America for the Rittenhouse verdict. God will judge you leftist scum who didn’t care what you were supporting with your little BLM signs in your front yard. Killing kids and old ladies in a Christmas parade in Wisconsin may just be the spark.
I don’t think they will learn. I have a neighbor down the block with the BLM stuff and anti racism stuff and I take it as an insult that our neighborhood is racist. We don’t need the blooming signs.
I’ve got one of those BLM advertisers on the next block, too. Why anyone would want to advertise their ignorance like that is beyond me.
They put those signs up so their house won’t get robbed.
Fearless hit the nail on the head, let’s say at least 1/3 of those signs are put up by businesses or individuals who hope it will keep them being burgled, looted or murdered.
“… possession of a firearm by a felon.”
But this is DEMafornia that should not be, . . . Oh wait, never mind.
These days criminals have to really work at it, to “catch” a FELONY.
WC used to be a desirable zip code. Voters need to wake up and be more particular who they vote for. After elections they also need to provide ongoing Adult Supervision to those elected.
An IF some of those arrested actually end up incarcerated, that act needs to be widely publicized or shopping without dollars vermin will be back.
Post the mug shots!
This is just frustrating….I hope they come into my store while I am working. I’ll gladly help take care of the problem.
This is what happens when criminals have more rights than law-abiding citizens and businesses. It’s not rocket-science. And the cure does not appear to be available in California. Good luck!
+ AR15
Diversity is our strength!
With the glut of cameras EVERYWHERE, let’s hope the police are checking all angles and arresting the registered owners AND raiding their homes!
Next time mount a electric counters and double locking security doors trapping them inside. There is many ways to.make this not a desirable heist but you too dummy
Why should anybody obey laws?
The FBI doesn’t, politicians don’t….. why should we?
People rioted all last summer & those that were arrested were released & not prosecuted.
In Minnesota the “Minnesota Freedom Fund” bailed out rioters who went right back to riot again.
Backed by Kamala Harris who said “If you’re able to, chip in now to the @MNFreedomFund to help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota”
Why should anybody obey laws ?
* Note:
Two of those bailed out by MFF went on to commit murders.
