No, not early.

However, those who leave their Xmas lights and other random Xmas decorations up all year show that they are downright TACKY and LAZY.

PG&E is playing Scrooge with their outrageous electricity rates, so YES, it’s way to early…

For commercial use, I think it’s too early. Christmas decorations should come after Thanksgiving. For private homes, they’re free to do whatever makes them happy.
It’s the media that’s negative. The media keeps telling us the country is racist and divided, when in reality it isn’t true. When I go out I see people from every nationality, and from all walks of life going about their business, interacting, and getting along with everybody else.
It’s unfortunate that some people believe what they see on the news, when the opposite is occurring in real life.
I think you are absolutely right about the media. Their goal has obviously been to divide us and unfortunately they seem to have made some inroads with some people…..but NOT all us us by a long shot.

I don’t think so. My opinion is slanted though, as I have Christmas colored lights on in my backyard just about year round. If somebody wants to enjoy the festive decor for longer than the month or so between Thanksgiving and Christmas, good on them. I brighten up myself when I see the decorations…

Too soon for me but not for some of my neighbors. But most of them wait until Thanksgiving week. I do mine the 1st weekend in December. I do rather resent the stores that start pushing Christmas long before Halloween.

Let’s not mingle Thanksgiving and Christmas. I say wait until 12/1.

In a normal year – yes. As the pandemic drags on since March 2020, the more cheer the better! Most of us love the holidays!

We drove past a house last night with Christmas lights and my husband remarked, “wow, that’s early…not even Thanksgiving, yet.” But you know what? If it makes its occupants happy, good for them…we could all use some cheer.
