COVID-19 vaccines could be available at clinics in Contra Costa as soon as Saturday for children ages 5-11, and the county is hosting a town hall meeting on Thursday to answer any questions about the youth vaccination efforts.
On Thursday at 6 p.m., Contra Costa County Health Officer Dr. Chris Farnitano, county Superintendent of Schools Lynn Mackey and other local medical experts will participate in the virtual town hall via Zoom at bit.ly/3CNyBIE.
Contra Costa officials said the vaccine could be available as soon as Saturday at county-run clinics.

There is .0000% chance of death from COVID for children under the ages of 12 (cited from the CDC COVID Population Fatality Rates By Single Year of Age). This is lunacy.
Maybe but those stuidies are dated to when there was no in school teaching. Not to mention there are long term health problems with kids getting infected. Not to mention kids spread disease faster than anyone. You want to beat this virus we need to take a more proactive approach and not just pretend it’s some kind of liberal conspiracy.
Fred, those are the totals for all COVID related deaths from 1/1/2020 to September 30, 2021 from the CDC website. It’s funny that I have presented CDC data and you mention the word conspiracy.
I also watched the FDA webinar on approving boosters for those 65 and under. It was brought up by a panel member that for every life saved there are two deaths by the vaccine.
So yeah, getting kids vaxxed who have a .000% chance of dying is lunacy.

This claim was made by a guy named Steven Kirsch who called into the meeting during the public comment period. It seems this guy is also a big proponent of Ivermectin as a supposed cure for Covid. Of course, Mr. Kirsch’s claim has received lots of repetitions on the usual conspiracy sites.
@Fred – Remember when the coronavirus was described as the “novel coronavirus?” I think it’s safe to assume no one knows the long term health problems of coronavirus or the coronavirus “vaccine” (which doesn’t provide sterilizing immunity of stop transmission of coronavirus, by the way.)

Recently my grandchild was sick and had a fever. I asked my daughter if she was giving her Childrens’Tylenol. She said no, the doctor doesn’t recommend it unless the fever gets to 103 or above. The pediatrician is very cautious about Tylenol but parents are going to be ordered by the government to give their 5-year olds this vax. Crazy. Let’s Go Brandon.

My first question to these experts would be, “How many years has the covid 19 vaccine been studied in all ages” then wait for the double talk of ” RNA vaccines have been studied for 20 years…with proven safety” Then come right back to them with “NO, I want to know how long the COVID 19 RNA Vaccine has been studied” ..notice their responses are always framed or couched with “ALL RNA VACCINES” without specifying all of the individual RNA vaccines….and then force them to say how many years the COVID 19 RNA Vaccine has been tested…YEARS? Yesterday Buster Posey shocked the sports world by announcing his retirement effective today. Buster and his wife have 4 young children. He also lives in CoCoCo which is just about the most restrictive county in the nation regarding mask and vaxx mandates. It would not surprise me at all if they are leaving CA and CoCoCo to move back to Georgia where they will nto have to subject their young children to the mask and vaxx madness. Also this week a friend of mine and his wife told me they are leaving his very good job in Walnut Creek to move to rural mid-Michigan. Another high-earning SF Bay area couple leaves to the the mask and vaxx madness.
This flight of productive high earners out of CoCoCo and CA is going to continue until someone wakes up and stops the brown shirt Nazi tactics. There are plenty of states not subjecting their residents to this crap. I wonder who the CoCoCo BoS think is going to pay taxes in CA once all the productive people get fed up and leave.

I have yet to hear any explanation as to how an experimental shot can legally be mandated because under Federal and international law it is illegal to mandate an experimental drug. They know a lot of children will be permanently disabled and many will die this is nothing to do with a virus remember these are the same people that tell us if we give them more money that they can change the temperature of the Earth. Are you suggesting that the vaccine has a high likelihood of disabling or killing children? What percent? Based on what data? And is that number larger or smaller than the number of children who die when they get COVID. We know that kids are much more likely to recover from COVID than the octogenarians who get it – no one is disputing that point.
Double post – hope I don’t get “banned!” I’m putting my energy out into the greater community – through my local county department of education. I have a BA in “Mass Media and Communications” – and have worked in both (high school education AND journalism). I am currently working in software development – and have the necessary vocational credentials to do so. All of that being said – I know how to “research” and “write” a basic (well researched “article”) – and will be submitting my “findings” (data based science) – to every single member of Contra Costa County board of education. This has become a necessary task – and it really is a “legal” matter. I am hand carrying these findings – and they have to accept them. This is known as a “paper trail” – and attorneys utilize this kind of research. JOIN ME – swamp them with letters. NO “SOCIAL” MEDIA – submit them it in longhand if you have to. It must be done Claycodians.
