Do they have any idea how fast he was going. I have noticed that I have been driving faster than normal lately. Nowhere near fast enough to get into an accident but while driving to a couple of stores today I decided to slow down a bit.

Very wise, why risk an accident to save a few minutes. Someone on Contra Costa Blvd was driving really fast the other day, kind of scarry. Roads in towns and cities is not meant to drive fast on, thus speed limits. The rules exsist for your safety as well as others, not a direct quote from Top Gun, but close.

Unfortunately, too many people seem to, “..feel the need, the need for speed” – also a Top Gun quote.

@ jj

Thanks Maverick!!

Those who want to speed deserve the result as long as they do not injure innocent drivers or pedestrians and animals. To many times on just regular streets like YVR and Treat Blvd these fools are driving recklessly and putting all of us in danger. Execute your death wish in other ways that do not involve those of us who follow the laws and rules of the road.

They hit the huge concrete pillar that supports the elevated BART tracks and not a light pole. Light poles snap off if struck by a vehicle.
