Contra Costa County Superintendent Voices Support For Vaccine Mandate

Contra Costa County Superintendent of Schools Lynn Mackey voiced her support for Governor Newsom’s announcement that the COVID-19 vaccine would be added to other vaccinations required for in-person school attendance for students and for all school employees.

Vaccinations for COVID-19 will be mandatory for students beginning the term after it receives FDA approval for that age span.

It is expected to apply to grades 7-12 starting on July 1, 2022. A vaccine mandate for grades K-6 will follow once it receives approval for that age range. However, the Governor’s announcement encourages local health jurisdictions and local education agencies to implement requirements ahead of a statewide requirement based on their local circumstances.

“Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, schools have faced many challenges and developed new solutions to mitigate the effects of the virus on our communities. From safety procedures and testing protocols to cleaning standards and vaccination requirements, schools districts have implemented and refined many of the practices currently in place. I look forward to working with county health services to ensure that all students and staff get vaccinated as quickly as possible to comply with the new mandate announced by Governor Newsom and ensure the long-term health of our county, especially those communities that have been severely impacted by COVID-19,” Superintendent Mackey said.

I voice my support to vote for anyone but her next year when her term is up in 2022.

The problem with Mackey is not only does she not know anything, she doesn’t suspect anything.

Given the data presented by Contra Costa Health with -35.4% cases/-27.2% hospitalizations in last 7 days, this medically unethical and coercive mandate may not come to fruition if you pay attention to the guesstimate of July 1, 2022 FDA approval. And looking at the School District Covid-19 data dashboards they are doing a decent job with mitigation: West Contra Costa has 2 staff/15 students and Pittsburg 0 staff/18 students…while MDUSD has 0 staff/4 students (these are numbers for their entire school district population)

Does Mackey know that the vaccine won’t have final approval until 2024 but she wants to push it? And does she know that the new name of the Phizer vaccine Comirnaty is the rebranding of the original vaccine. Comirnaty contains myocarditis which causes heat inflammation. I spent 2 hrs with 3 Phizer employees asking the questions.

All for a virus with 1.6% fatality rate to date.

Forcing the vaccine on those who don’t need it to “protect” teachers who are not required to take it is insane!!!
No wonder homeschooling is growing so fast !!

John Hemm,
You’re going to need those beds when your adverse reactions kick in.
I’m NOT a scared little Caspar MilqueToast Coward.
Apart from ripping a limb off, I will NEVER go to one of those Hospitals again, I’m not into watching nurses and doctors making TikTok dance videos.
Good luck with your ADE.

Of course they do.

They’re getting paid very well to promote that outrageous concoction they call a vaccine.

And it’s your and my money that we pay in taxes going to the Sups in the form of the bribe.

Our taxes go to DC. DC buys vaccines from Big Pharma at incredibly high prices. Big Pharma pays the locals to promote the vaccine with the money they get from DC.

As with everything, we tax payers foot the bill.

The Fearless Spectator October 4, 2021 - 6:39 PM - 6:39 PM

Of course she does. if she values her career, she has no choice.

Interesting numbers.

Confirmed cases: 95890 in Contra Costa County.

Deceased: 937

Ya’ll can do the math.

This is available on the CCC health website, it takes some digging.

Martin October 4, 2021 - 9:09 PM - 9:09 PM

And compare it to the VAERS numbers, which the doctors tell us are only 6% of reality because of how difficult it is to fill out all the forms… The cure is worse than the disease

Dud October 5, 2021 - 7:32 AM - 7:32 AM

Mandating for the kids because you can’t get the teachers to all vaccinate?

Puffandstuff October 5, 2021 - 8:40 AM - 8:40 AM

No
My healthy robust children will be supporting their already healthy immune system with sleep, exercise , good nutrition and plenary of sunshine and fresh air.
I can’t believe how many people have already jabbed their kids! I guess they have more faith in “ the science “ than I do.

Puffandstuff October 5, 2021 - 8:42 AM - 8:42 AM

I’ve always thought mandates were gay.

Snickerdad October 5, 2021 - 7:16 PM - 7:16 PM

Well they better start laying off teachers now because class will be a lot smaller and they won’t be needing as many teachers.
Let see what the teachers Union thinks about this. Time for them to start throwing millions of dollars at our Governor so they can get what they want.
