Flowers in front of Stonebrook near where she was in the street

When I read the deceased was from Union City, first thing that came to mind was she visiting a family member? Moving in with them? Just what I thought of. But, I’m just as concerned for the 69 year old male driver who hit the woman and his trauma over all this. Hope all of them fare well after such a tragedy.

Stomebrook, that’s correct. Right there. Forgot about that.

I drove by, probably within minutes of it happening. The car was stopped, and a person was down in front of the car. I took a good look, it was odd to me, she looked old but also looked young as well. Wasn’t sure if she was deceased but also sure as well. And she looked like she was wearing blue scubs. When I came home an hour later, they left her shoes there, took a good look at those and they were really clean/new running shoes. Tough to hear she was an employee there.

She worked at Stonebrook.

According to her Facebook profile, the deceased was a Certified Nursing Assistant working at Stonebrook.

Hope she was in the crosswalk if she wasn’t then she may have not lost her life. Both she and the driver need our prayers.

The shoes in the road weren’t near any crosswalk. Sadly the parking for that facility is horrible, I had a family member there for a short recovery and watched people run across the street from the neighborhoods around to find parking. Very sad

I can definitely agree on inadequate parking at that healthcare facility, If you ever have to go there you know how bad the parking is. Since she was from the healthcare facility they should feel shame as they are partly to blame with their lack of adequate parking.
