Chipotle has leased the location where Dickey’s was located in the Clayton Valley shopping center on Ygnacio Valley Rd. in Concord (next to the Dollar Tree).
This will be Chipotle’s third restaurant in Concord.

cmon really had to get rid of the old dickeys? Dickeys soft serve ice cream and some mac and cheese and pork was so good on a casual day. That’s sad. Chipotle is overrated it isn’t even that good.
Dickey’s was awful! Horrible service, mediocre , overpriced food. Dirty floors and counters. I remember the last time I went there, the cashier was scratching her pony tail and then poured my mac and cheese without wearing gloves.
Chipotle is meh, but, better than rancid cockroach Dickey’s!

They had a sign up in there some months back. Saw yesterday that they are finally cleaning it out. Still remember when Taco Bell was there.

Yes, It was there before that $1 store was there. Miss that place. Use to go there all the time.
I thought a Filipino restaurant was supposed to move in there last year. I was really looking forward to it. Drove by several times and looked inside to see if they were open. What happened?
Glad, hadn’t been in that building since working for the Bank and that was six years back. I welcome it. A bit surprised I have never tried the
Guadalajara Grill, everyone says it’s really good. Better do that too or at least pick up once in awhile.

It was open for a bit, but was using the old Dickey’s meat that the old tweeker Dickey’s people left behind. Didnt last long.
I dislike Chipotle. I’ve had it several times from various local locations and it’s generally meh. Won’t eat there again.
Meh is an excellent desciption. My brown rice at home is way better. My jalapeno beans on a lightly toasted tortilla is gourmet compared to what I ordered at the oak grove location 20 years ago. Never went back. 😱
I usually like Chipotle but so much depends on the manager. There is 2 of them I won’t go back to.
Haven’t eaten at Chipotle since there were closing their locations every other week due to health inspections. Not planning any visits in the future.
How about an Arby’s somewhere nearby?

Chipotle sucks. All this repetitive corporate food and stores are garbage. It’s like the movie demolition man. Taco bell is considered fine dining. Love the independent mexican spots in this area. Mexican mcdonald’s not so much.
Chipotle has too much salt in their food for me.
And plumbers throughout Contra Costa County break out in cheers!!!
Plenty of real Mexican food joints in concord.
I hope this fails miserably.
