Two Sentenced In Bay Area In Separate Child Porn Cases

Federal judges in the Bay Area sentenced two men to multiple years in prison this week after separate child pornography convictions, federal prosecutors said.

In Oakland, 42-year-old Antioch resident Shawn Jamison Prichard was sentenced to six and a half years in prison for possession of child pornography. Prichard, who had worked as a registered nurse in an East Bay hospital, pleaded guilty March 31 to possessing more than 600 images of child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

An investigation into Prichard began after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a tip from a social media company.

In federal court in San Francisco, 57-year-old Barry David Goldberg of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, received a 10-year sentence for the distribution of child pornography and for cyberstalking a juvenile victim, prosecutors said.

Goldberg pleaded guilty Jan. 27, admitting that he used the Internet to misrepresent himself to a 15-year-old girl, convincing the victim to send him sexually explicit images of herself. Goldberg also admitted to posting some of these images on Snapchat and told the girl’s parents that he had these images, all with the intent to injure, harass and intimidate her, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

In addition to the prison term, Goldberg will serve a 10-year period of supervised release.

These two a$$hats will serve 6 and 10 years, possibly less since this happened in California and criminals are treated as victims. The sentence the children abused on those videos, on the other hand, is a life sentence due to the abuse inflicted on them. I have read that the Child Abuse Registries don’t work as they should and there are registered sex offenders living close to schools and neighbors are not notified of having such “upstanding citizens” living close by. Bring back the electric chair for these types of criminals, no excuses!

If I ever ran for public office my motto would be;
>PEDOS GET THE ROPE.

A while back I looked into it and for some reason pedos always get light sentences, like they are protected. Gets the almonds activated….

And you’d loose. Then FBI would plant it on your PC.

This will be unpopular but here goes anyway. If someone is involved in making or distributing child porn they could be hung for all I care. However having it on your computer proves you are sick but putting someone in jail for possessing something is a slippery slope. The way our government is going it won’t be long before there will be a list of things you better not have on your computer. Our government is out of control right now and at this point there is no telling where it is going to end up.

Hmm, little mention of Big Brother snooping on your computer or phone. Imagine if they were doing something the government didn’t like? The bust for CSAM is an “oh by the way” police action. At least China has cute cartoon avatars that pop up to warn you they are monitoring.
