The good doctor says the cloth masks people are wearing to prevent the spread of COVID-19 are insufficient to stop smoke particles, which are commonly measured at 2.5 micrometers.
The COVID-19 virus is measured at 20-500 nanometers, which is 1,000 times smaller than the smoke particles.
The only time Fauci did not lie was when he said cloth masks are ineffective in spreading COVID-19, and in fact, become unhealthy viral sinks very quickly.

The complete lack of focus on mask quality, fitment, and the need for N95 and similar respirators was always troubling.
