Sounds like from possible to actual I would say.

Another day, another shooting.
I fully agree that Newscum must be recalled but how long will it take for us to get to a point where public spaces are safe once again!? This sort of stuff has been going on for far too long. Enough is enough! California is one step away from being like any other third world country, we’re officially a second world state.

You are one hundred percent correct. The only way to start mitigating some of this damage is to recall this terrible governor. Until then the criminals are in charge.

Import the third world, become the third world. Its not going to get better, and it isn’t going to get safer. This is the decline of civilization.

Was this someone who got a Covid jail release from Newsum?

The recall can’t come fast enough.

I hope they were wearing masks.

Help stop the spread.
Before you shoot em up.
Mask it up.

huh?

bail equity -> means zero dollar bails = scumbags back on the streets

#RecallGavinNewsom

Well if no consequence we can shoot first. Time to shoot back since we can’t be prosecuted. . But I’m sure the responsible people will go to jail. Ca is a joke

and the decent folks will suffer while the scumbags walk out of stores with expensive cloths screaming “reparations” and fight with the police because some idiot told them they don’t have to comply with LE

Yes it is, because they removed all the teeth from the law. It has become the Wild West.

Been thinking about retiring early and getting a place in Indiana to be closer to my mom. I grew up in Concord and have been here over 50 years. The level of crime and quality of life here now are in steady decline. Every day on my way to work and back I drive past the ever-growing homeless encampment on San Miguel Rd. and no one seems to give a rat’s arse. The city says they are “allowed to stay” as long as they comply with health and safety regs. WTF? What about the community’s health and safety? What about property value?

I’ve been researching homes in Indiana…200k will practically get you what would be a million dollar home here. I love the Bay Area, but the writing’s on the wall.

Edit: Level of crime up, quality of life decline. To be clear. I know the the topic was a shooting at Willow Pass Park, but why are homeless encampments allowed to permeate our neighborhoods? Apologies if that is off topic, but to start and end my day driving past an entire camp of tents and garbage and shopping carts and obvious meth addicts does not exactly contribute to my quality of life. And how do I know who is armed? Will the next report of a shooting occur here?

I do not feel safe in my own neighborhood and after being shut down by the response from the City of Concord, they obviously do not care.

The only reasons to stay in California for me are my family is all here, and the weather is mostly amazing. Every facet of life has gotten worse over the last decade here however.

Actually there is direct connection between with the government is doing now and the increase in crime. Absolutely connected. I guess you have been paying attention

Bring back the spirit poles, and lift this curse from condord.

I’d put money on either drugs or a woman.

That kind of shooting isn’t random.

So was it a possible shooting or a shooting?

I miss the old days when this happened late at night. Too much crazy stuff happening in the middle of the day.

Black man that lives Sewer drain tunnel I think they call him Bam he knows everything

Willow,

Why you racist, he’s not black, he is a person of color…..get woke.

Just kidding.

He was white before he crawled in there.

95-% of people are shot by someone they know. So if he’s not dead it should be open and shut case.

Not sure why people think Newsom is to blame for the crime and homeless in Concord. Doesn’t seem to be much of a problem in Clayton, Walnut Creek, Orinda, Moraga, Lafayette and other more expensive places. Don’t get me wrong I do agree that it’s becoming an issue (crime and homeless), but what causes homelessness? Lack of affordable housing, unemployment, drugs, poverty and mental illness. What causes crime to increase? Income level, family issues, job availability and drugs. Not sure how Newsome is to be blamed for all of this, appears to me a lot of this is self-inflicted. Want to fix the issue? Get more involved.

Lol….you had me for.a minute. I didn’t catch the sarcasm at first. I was thinking “how could anyone be so ignorant?” Nice one!

@tolduso that’s because you aren’t looking hard enough. And a lot of those cities have zero tolerance for this crap. This is a direct effect of mismanagement of public affairs from the top to the bottom of our state government.

ToldU,

Where have you been the last year? In the last three months, WC has had three murders and several armed robberies.

108RS

WTF are you talking about? The cause of homelessness and crime is a lack of affordable housing?? No, you have it exactly backwards, the giant expansion of “affordable housing ” aka section 8 housing in claycord is the direct culprit of skyrocketing violent crime rates going on across Claycord. The last thing we need is more section 8 housing…

You can do the Google search yourself, but I just spent a couple of minutes looking up numbers that say the illegal population in CA is over 2 million, while the CA homeless population is somewhere around 150 thousand. If Newsom and ilk had not populated the land with illegals by giving them money and declaring sanctuary status, couldn’t the homeless citizens have those homes? Actually, couldn’t each family group of homeless have about 10 houses or apartments each at that rate?

Until there are more prisons and much more severe punishment this will just be the new norm in Gavins Killifornia…

You are 100% right .The crimes and shootings are being committed by felons that are being released over and over again . The violence will continue to increase until the law abiding people get pushed to their limit or more relatives of of our corrupt politicians suffer from crime . It’s going to take a long time here in California before we will feel safe again . The liberal ideology comes first and reality is a fantasy .The law abiding citizen will stand up for what is right and vote out the liars that have created and support the violence . It just hasn’t gotten bad enough yet .

Since demented Joe has really run amuck and they cannot downplay his Afghanistan issue as much as they will try, hopefully this will keep him from helping Newsolini from coming to California to campaign for him.

Start the RECALL ROLL OUT with Newsolini and give the other states the jump start they need to get America back on track and way from the green team and the entitlement crowd.

Joe has single handedly destroyed any credibility America had in just over 6 months not to mention the inflation and the lies he keeps forcing upon us.

What used to be the America has gone down the tubes. Make America and California Great again.

Joe and Kamala out stumping for Newsom:

“Gavin Newsom is doing a job. He will bring the same level of success to California that I have to the Nation thing, you know.”-Joe

“I believe in Gavin Newsom, and I would be out on the trail helping him campaign, if I weren’t in hiding (maniacal laughter)”-Kamala

Again, just like where is high tech when it comes to car theft prevention, where is high tech when it comes to tracing bullets back to a gun and the gun owner?

Bullets literally get pushed out of their cartridge by an explosion. Then, while moving incredibly quickly, they get into a collision. Bullets and firearms are mass produced with great precision and uniformity, and you want to trace particular bullets to particular firearms? To some extent, forensics has the capacity to operate in this matter; but, most of what people think on this is straight up Hollywood.

Tracing a weapon back to the owner would (often) require a registry (No bueno). Tracing it back to the most recent user is a bit more feasible (forensically speaking).

Imagine how tiny the serial number would have to be on a 22.

So the update says the victim is conscious and able to give a description of those involved …
Still waiting.

Any direction of travel? Clothing description? Physical description? Shirt? Tall? Thin? Heavy build? Overweight? Light or dark complected?

Unbelievable how the perpetrators description has been withheld!
