A car-to-car shooting has been reported on westbound hwy.4 in Concord, east of Port Chicago Highway.
At least three people have been injured. At this time, it is unclear exactly how they were injured.
The shooting occurred just before 7 p.m. on Saturday.
Expect major delays in the area for the next several hours.

It says it was on WESTBOUND Hwy 4, meaning they were going to west county from the central county

At first hearing about this and seeing a photo of the vehicle on the news, I’m guessing the individual was targeted. Gang, drug, and or payback for unpaid debt.

I hate to see more freeway shootings. This is dangerous because other innocent people can get hurt or killed. Idiots. There should be stiffer penalties for freeway shootings. Sick of the violence in our country.

Guess I was right…driving west on 4 at 8:30, was just about to Bailey when saw just a sea of brake lights, was able to cross over all the lanes to exit at Bailey. Then Bailey Rd to Concord was jammed so went back to Railroad and took Kirker Pass. But that was my guess, another Hwy 4 shooting.
The shootings and violence will get worse until the failed liberal ideology is stopped . You can’t keep releasing criminals out of jail and prisons and then wonder why crime is getting out of control . If they would show the public the arrest and conviction records of the criminals they catch ,it would show what the problem is .
Absolutely. I couldn’t agree more. It’s very hard to find the criminal records in the media. The public would be SHOCKED to see criminal records of new arrestees. Especially when they saw previous violent criminal convictions and the insanely lenient sentences… and then the fact that criminals don’t even serve the full insanely lenient sentence that they received. People would be full of utter disbelief. And all of that information is shielded from us.

Most of the shootings are felons with guns. If police could stop and frisk, this would be drastically alleviated. Unfortunately, police can no longer approach persons with probable cause. This is why the shootings have increased.
This is just one more way to disarm the population. Blaming crime on law abiding citizens. Those who have served jury duty know the stereotypes are often true. Certainly our police know.
