Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads. Also to all the others who have either stepped up or stepped in to be Dads. And moms who have been both Mom and Dad. Hugs to each and every one of you.

Happy Father’s Day to my 98 year old dad.
Over 77 years ago as a young man on D-Day
he went ashore on Omaha Beach. Getting to
be fewer and fewer of those men he fought
alongside left.

@Shoulda,

Happy Father’s Day to your Dad (and you, if it is so). The Greatest Generation. My Dad was also at D – Day, a Medic. If you’ve never been to the US WWII Museum in New Orleans, I highly recommend it. They have an amazing collection, and a movie narrated by Tom Hanks, honoring our brave men and women. It’s an “experiential” movie, where they simulate riding in train cars, bombings, etc. Lots of information for both the European theatre and pacific theatre.
