Gee, what’s wrong with this picture? We’re paying the highest price in the nation, including the highest gas tax+sales tax, and the Governor announces a 50+ BILLION dollar “surplus” to be used to pay for COVID 19 vaccinations.

The Scam state at work.

That’s why you should own stock in oil companies…

In the year 2035, if man is still alive, the state will need a new form of revenue to keep the roads in their current state of lousy.

Watching the news last night when a story about the gas shortage came on. Lines literally around the block. Fights breaking out. Pictures of pumps and stations with signs reading “Sorry, no gas”. Reminds me of the 70s during Jimmy Carter’s heyday.

But what really stuck out to me was when they showed the prices while discussing how much gas prices are spiking. $3.98 per gallon.

So during a shortage, with mile long lines and hoarding taking place,
THEY’RE GASOLINE PRICES ARE STILL LOWER THEN OURS!!!

WTF. Maybe Jojo can explain it to me or Natalie can spin it.

Aunt Barbara May 13, 2021 - 12:16 PM - 12:16 PM

bad time to own a huge gas guzzling soccer mom SUV tank 😉

Yes, and I look forward to reading their folly because it helps in preparing to deal with the New World Order. 🤡💀☠👽👾🤖💩

The gas shortage was in the early 70’s. (73-75 roughly) Carter become president in January, 1977. It was over by then.

The Bat Area prices are similar to Hawaii’s and it must be shipped to Hawaii. Watch the oil companies profits.

DD May 13, 2021 - 11:57 AM - 11:57 AM

Gas prices are higher in California.
And in similar news snow is cold and rain is wet.

$6.90 a gallon in North Carolina, but Biden axes Keystone. Votes count, even fraudulent votes.

Consumer prices rose 4.3% from this time last year, the largest increase since 2008, and fastest rate of increase since 1981, sparking inflation fears

Dow falls 680 points (2%) in worst day since January
The S&P 500 and NASDAQ both dropped 2.15% and 2.67%, respectively

“You guys are bad. I’m not supposed to be answering all these questions. I’m supposed to leave.” “president” * Biden

Have a lot of fun grocery shopping.

DLo May 13, 2021 - 1:52 PM - 1:52 PM

The high has prices in the Southeast were caused by panic buying, price gauging, and hoarding due to a ransomware attack on the Colonial Pipeline. It has nothing to do with Keystone( which benefits Canada more than the US) or Biden. The Colonial Pipeline is owned by Koch Industries (a private company) who supports conservative policies. the vulnerabilities in the pipeline have been known for years. Colonial paid $5 million in ransom and the pipeline is back in operation.

The stock market regularly goes up and down…

I can see with the phase out of fracking, limitations on importing fuels, and the State wanting a higher gas tax … $5+ gas by July 4th, I’m not blaming anybody, if I did the Censors would ban the post … But you get what you Vote for

@DLo Koch Industries do not support conservative policies….Not REAL conservative policies…Koch Bro’s are elite globalist pigs just like the current frauds at Pennsylvania Ave. Its not about GOP or DNC its about globalists pigs verse freedom and national sovereignty

DLo May 13, 2021 - 5:29 PM - 5:29 PM

@tomato,

No argument from me about the Koch’s being globalist pigs. They are libertarians though and do push conservative policies.

JRocks May 13, 2021 - 12:35 PM - 12:35 PM

Thank you Resident Biden!

Badge1104 May 13, 2021 - 5:25 PM - 5:25 PM

Yes, this is just a sample of things to come and all the blame goes to Joe Biden for what will come. I bet gas will be $5 a gallon by the end of this year! And of course they’re going to blame us that we to be driving electric cars instead…. And then there’s going to be shortages of electricity because liberals don’t like building power plants either. (And wind and son only work in the day)

FPN May 13, 2021 - 12:37 PM - 12:37 PM

I remember sitting in gas lines when gas was 50 cents a gallon. Odd and even days. Amazing that months ago we were energy dependent. This is what happens when an election is stolen. Why are we pretending that we elected China Joe? This is all so sad and going to get worse. Get him out of office.

RANDOM TASK May 13, 2021 - 1:00 PM - 1:00 PM

wow jj

so you are for the state screwing over people
and laughing at people who have to use a vehicle

how many kids are you transporting on that bike on your way to work to drop off at daycare or school

just because you can do and live a certain way does not make it a haha moment

and to admonish those who have to drive to provide for their families again is not a haha moment

laughing at other citizens who probably par more taxes than you also not amusing

as you probably vote yes for every gas tax to be ..oh yeah funny and disparaging again is not amusing

gas here is so high because there are at least 3 taxes on them
supposed to be for road maintenance ….but are used to fund illegals and their housing while american citizens are left to the streets and denied lowincome housing

there is your hahah moment for you
jokes on you and your fellow american citizens

and were not laughing

JJ May 14, 2021 - 5:58 AM - 5:58 AM

Writing the word wheeee. Is not laughing at people. But, to each his own.

And back in the day, the children were transported to school by bike. Then they rode by themselves. 🚴🚴🚴

Taxes I paid last year, over $200k. Sorry, if you paid more.
I paid a little bit less this year.

Randy May 13, 2021 - 2:29 PM - 2:29 PM

.. as part of Newsom’s campaign promises he said he would get to the bottom of the gas price gouging in Calif (particularly the Bay Area) and hold the oil companies accountable and get prices in line with the rest of the country. Especially given how many refineries are in Calif (although some are being driven out of state by his leadership)…. so was this done? noooooooo another of his failures 🙁

Yves Harlowe May 13, 2021 - 3:59 PM - 3:59 PM

Every time the price of gas rises, the current governor of California has always announced that there will be an investigation into the cause of the price increases. Have any the governors gotten to the bottom of the cause? Not that I’m aware of. Meanwhile, the gas taxes go up again.

Randy May 14, 2021 - 7:31 AM - 7:31 AM

… what was different this time with this governor is that he made that commitment when gas prices were stable (but too high) and made it part of his campaign speech as a high priority

Dorothy May 13, 2021 - 2:48 PM - 2:48 PM

So let’s see: We have refineries here in the Bay Area but they charge us more. The was a refinery fire a while back in So Cal so we are charged more. Now there is internet attack on a refinery on the East Coast so we are charged more. The price of oil in the Middle East goes up so we are charged more. More EV sold so they charge more. That sounds like corporate greed and stick it to the customers to me.

B-Diz May 13, 2021 - 7:51 PM - 7:51 PM

Just wait for the road tax coming when new car internal combustion engines are banned here in Kalifornia and the gas tax revenue isn’t paying enough for Caltrans union workers to screw the state. At least we have been weaned into the screwing our whole lives…

Em May 16, 2021 - 8:12 AM - 8:12 AM

That’s why we moved to Missouri! Cheap gas, affordable homes, good jobs and nice people!
