More People Traveling By Air After Receiving COVID Vaccination

My family and I will be traveling by air in June to Hawaii. And no none of us are or will be vaccinated. We rather wear masks. Three days before we leave we need to take a COVID test which is fine. Can’t wait, it’s a much needed vacation!!

I flew back home to help my elderly parents three times since the pandemic began. The first time was in June, the second in October and again last month. The first two trips, I had a whole row on the plane to myself. And I flew round trip for about 200 dollars. It was great for me, but I know it was terrible for the airline industry. This past trip, my two flights were full. Since I traveled alone, I had to sit near strangers, but I felt ok. Now I am nostalgic for those first four flights in the summer and fall. Empty airports, no security lines .. it was unreal and very relaxing. When I fly, I always wear one of those K95 masks that protrude almost like a beak, so it’s not as uncomfortable against my face. I will need to head back early this summer, so I anticipate it will be normal times flying. Oh, well.
