- Total cases (since March) – 65,559
- Recovered cases – 63,950
- Deaths – 760
- Total active confirmed cases – 849
- Nursing home deaths – 318
- 6 active outbreaks in nursing homes
Contra Costa County COVID-19 Hospital Data:
- Patients currently hospitalized – 32
- Occupied ICU beds – 131
- Available ICU beds – 35
The State will move Contra Costa County to the “Orange Tier” once the following three criteria have been met for two consecutive weeks:
- CASE RATE: 1.0 – 3.9 daily new cases (per 100k) (currently 5.7)
- POSITIVEY RATE: 2.0 – 4.9% positive tests for entire county (currently 1.8%)
- EQUITY METRIC: Less than 5.3% positive tests for health equity quartile (currently 2.9%)
K-6 School Reopening:
- Schools have been allowed to reopen since February 9, 2021.
