Joe Biden is releasing covid positive illegal immigrants into cities across America!

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas confirmed to lawmakers this week that the agency has released border crossers into the United States without testing them for the Chinese coronavirus.

During a hearing before the House Homeland Security Committee on Wednesday, Mayorkas fielded questions about the number of border crossers released into the U.S. interior since the start of the Biden administration and how many have tested positive for coronavirus.
Mayorkas said it was in the thousands.

But isn’t COVID a hoax, or at least it’s no big deal? Haven’t the red team been trying to force businesses to open and our kids back to school for month upon months, and if we get COVID it’s only as bad as the flu, but now all of a sudden it’s something we should be terrified of?

@Silva
Bobfished stated facts. Here’s another one…..every single business owner/manager/employee I’ve spoken to has NEVER, NEVER, NEVER felt forced to open, as you just stated. All of them have always wanted to open on their own but couldn’t. And now you say the “red team” is forcing kids back to school. If by red team you mean Republicans, then you really need to be fair and include the “blue team” as well; as there are thousands/millions of those who want their kids back in school. Schools in the MDUSD are still closed…..must be due to all that forcing. Honestely, I don’t think your post could have been more stupid.

Guess it musta slipped his mind . . . . . .

Guess is easier to get kids back in school, when they’re private sector.

“California Gov. Gavin Newsom says he’s given no consideration to forcing schools to reopen if teachers unions refuse to move ahead with in-person instruction once educators are vaccinated…”

I don’t think it is justified to allow illegal immigrants to enter our country without a COVID test while our college students are subjected to twice weekly tests and if they don’t follow through with this surveillance they lose technology privileges and portal access. Traveling to Hawaii requires a test…why not require more of non citizens entering the U.S? Silva, if you don’t see the hypocrisy in what is happening, then look again…

Oh! A red hat skipped over my clearly tongue in cheek (whimsically exaggerated) point and called me a name. What a surprise (it’s usually how you know you’ve hit the target)!

COVID HOAX. COVID SCAM. COVID FRAUD. Oh but Silva knows so many people who died from it .. sure it’s real. Whatever you say

So do I

@ Silva

With all due respect many businesses in CA have been pleading to open this entire time. Meanwhile Amazon and all of the big name stores had record numbers and Billionaire’s became richer than ever during the pandemic.

People in CA that did not get Covid were still affected BY Covid (losing their businesses, homes, livelihood) as a result of the lockdown. Many children have been suffering from depression and have fallen even further behind in their education now a year since schools have gone to DL.

Covid is real but I do find it interesting that CA who is arguably the most restricted state for lockdowns still managed to have 24,500 *more* total deaths than Florida where they kept things open and just advised people wear masks and social distance.

If someone is not comfortable going to a restaurant or sending their child to hybrid school no judgment here, that is your right. But for others, they feel that it is time to start getting the economy going again and sending their children in for the hybrid option.

Covid Deaths
CA 57,165
FL 32,598

Covid Deaths per million
CA – 1,442
FL – 1,513
You forgot that CA has approx 18 million more people, you’re welcome.

Both your points say the same thing.

That the death rate was the same, despite one state going full commie with the lockdowns and one not.

Florida, has a much larger elderly population than California. The more elderly residents a state has, in general, the higher the danger of COVID deaths.

When you adjust for the average age of the population, Florida, which has a much larger elderly population than California, has actually outperformed California when it comes to dealing with COVID deaths in the state with no lockdowns.

In Florida children have attended schools in person since last Summer. Schools and youth sports leagues have played full sports schedules. Businesses have all remained open.

Florida has proven you can manage Covid and maintain some sense of normalcy in life w/o a lockdown.

CA unemployment rate 9.3%
FL Unemployment rate is 5.1%

Bottom line is that lockdowns do more harm than good and the numbers show it. Protect the vulnerable and let the rest of us keep the economy going.

You’re welcome.

@Charlie – as parent likes to point out most of these deaths were manufactured and in name only.

@charlie –

CA population – 39.5 million
FL population – 21.5 million

You find it “interesting” that a state with nearly twice the population has more cases of anything?

1:691 cases in CA vs. 1:659.7 in FL.

CA has twice the population and fewer deceased cases per person. Also less overall confirmed cases as well, but that’s another datapoint altogether.

So yes, that IS “interesting”, isn’t it.

@Kylie

Please see my response to Kathy above. Long story short When you adjust for the average age of the population, Florida, which has a much larger elderly population than California, has actually outperformed California when it comes to dealing with COVID deaths in the state with no lockdowns.

You don’t have to agree with me but that is my viewpoint. In the case case of our CA lockdown for a year the risks have outweighed the benefits, not the other way around.

Let’s see – Florida has a disproportionally large population of retirees, and during this entire time has received a HUUUGE influx of newcomers, many escaping NY when it was the epicenter.
Yet they have remained largely open, their economy is doing well and they well emerge out of this time as a very strengthened economy.

California meanwhile saw a huge outflow of people, economy in shambles, more people falling into poverty and an education system that is creating a lost generation.

I think whichever way you look at it, California is not in a good state coming out of this.

O G, Maybe Newsom is ready to push for school vouchers. It would save him a bundle. The sentiment has turned away from teachers. Parents want more control over where they can send their children to school.

Newsom isn’t going to push for anything, and he cares nothing for saving money notwithstanding his own. With the Feds stuffing his piggy bank he will spend all of it and more.

The Unions are likely miffed with him as they will have to shell out big money for his campaign to stay in office. Imagine the future demands they will make on him as a result. He is truly a kept politician.

3.9 per 100,000

Is this a Damn Practical JOKE???

OPEN EVERYTHING UP YOU IMBECILES! !!!!!!!!!

Amen!

isn’t the seasonal flu rate more than that?

Everyone needs to watch this, especially those planning on getting the jab:

I am guessing we cannot post links so search YT for a video called “Mass Vaccination in a Pandemic – Benefits versus Risks: Interview with Geert Vanden Bossche.

I watched it on a channel called “Vejon Health” but it might be elsewhere.

Geert is a Belgian vaccinologist. He makes vaccines for a living, so he is PRO vaccine. He is now risking his career and more, his life, by speaking out on the dangers of this vaccine. He was almost is tears at one point because of the devastation to human life this will cause. Not only because you shouldn’t get this jab during a pandemic but also because the one-strain covid anitbodies will replace your own broad-based immune system. Do you understand what that means?

This is a crime against humanity. Truly.
