Open the dang lower grades already-The kids have suffered enough.. All the school board does is have meetings, which are likely to discuss the next meetings.
Why negotiate. You are paid to work in the classroom and classrooms are going to open.
The teachers are working harder, and put in longer hours NOW, then then they do in-class. I see it, living with a teacher who’s always worn out.

Only took a year for them to be one of the last terrorist unions to step up and join the ‘in-person’ sessions. Granted, we have not heard the details … but who wants to bet that all we will get is 2 hours of ‘watching’ the kids.
Of course, this organized crime unit, is worried that they are working in a hazardous environment (wonder if they even looked up the definition at OSHA – doubt it), so they probably demanded more money … cause money makes the ‘hazardous environment’ go away, right?
MDUSD’s idea of PPE is 1 paper mask, 1 cloth mask, and a small bottle of hand sanitizer. They CLAIMED they put large bottles of hand in each classroom, but at my wife’s school they are still empty.
And what more PPE would you like them to receive?
A mask is all that the CDC and WHO think they need. So what more do you want? Teachers throughout the United States are already in the classroom with those EXACT supplies and doing well … so what more do you want?
So tired of teachers and teachers ‘friends’ claiming that teachers are so overworked and tired .. well guess what, SO ARE THE PARENTS!!!!! We have paid for a service which we are NOT getting. We have RIGHTS! Forget all the money and the parents rights though for a moment, think of the children .. the ones that these teachers are HURTING because they want more money … Well, you know the others that want more money .. the business that was shut down because of COVID, or the family that is now homeless, or the people who have lost their jobs …
Teachers sit at home, or on the beach and ‘teach’ for less time a day then they EVER have … and they are now demanding more money and supplies …
If your wife is not one of those, then she needs to stand up to the Terrorist MDEA leaders and demand a change.
The sanctimonious union malcontents need to be told that your members need to get back to work or be fired.

As for the sanitizer, I have seen it in the middle school classrooms already, so again, maybe yours is the exception.
The CTA/MDEA union parasite continues to destroy every kids education in its path.
