Why aren’t they reporting locked auto burglaries?

I was wondering the same thing.

Are they not reporting locked auto burglaries are or locked auto burglaries not happening as often as they used to. Residential burglaries are down because most people are now home all day. Maybe auto burglaries aren’t happening because people aren’t going to work, malls, restaurants, etc. therefore there aren’t a lot of cars in public and people leaving crap in their car.

I know at least three auto breakins in my neighborhood that were reported over the last few weeks. Haven’t shown on any reports

Same in my neighborhood but more like 10 break ins during the last 2 weeks. Guess the police are marching to the orders of Becton-ignore and roll out the red carpet for the thieves.

It could be that the new Chief of Police is able to show a reduction in the crime rate by not publicly reporting 459 Locked Autos

My truck was broken into during this time frame and $3k of stuff stolen. Yep. Looks like hiding the “bad” data
