Contra Costa County COVID-19 data as of Sunday Jan.10, 2021.

All information is from the Contra Costa County Health Dept.:

  • Total cases (since March) – 47,315
  • Recovered cases – 39,115
  • Deaths – 392
  • Total active confirmed cases – 7,808
  • One person under 30 years old has died (19-30 age range)
  • 193 deaths in Contra Costa County nursing homes.
  • There are currently 56 active COVID-19 outbreaks in Contra Costa nursing homes

Contra Costa County COVID-19 Hospital Data:

  • COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized – 296
  • Occupied ICU beds – 158 (78 COVID patients)
  • Available ICU beds – 19 (10.7%) (Bay Area region is at 3.0%, according to the State of CA, Contra Costa Health says Bay Area region is at 8.5%)
  • Available ventilators – 155

  • Recovered cases – 38,661
  • Deaths – 389
  • Total active confirmed cases – 7,568
  • One person under 30 years old has died (19-30 age range)
  • 191 deaths in Contra Costa County nursing homes.
  • There are currently 56 active COVID-19 outbreaks in Contra Costa nursing homes

Contra Costa County COVID-19 Hospital Data:

  • COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized – 280
  • Occupied ICU beds – 149 (76 COVID patients)
  • Available ICU beds – 26 (7.7%) (Bay Area region is at 3.0%, according to the State of CA, Contra Costa Health says Bay Area region is at 7.4%)
  • Available ventilators – 154

There were 45 deaths reported this week with the age breakdown being:
