Translation: We suck at our jobs and you will suffer from our lack of professionalism. How utterly incompetent. Can we get some winners to run the show around here for once? No confidence with these losers? Yet I see billboards calling them “superheroes” what low standards. You are all fired

BernieM January 5, 2021 - 8:10 PM - 8:10 PM

Yes, a lot of people will get fired on Jan 20th.

Sam January 5, 2021 - 9:27 PM - 9:27 PM

Agree. Fauci will be first up, followed my the media

Frustrated January 5, 2021 - 7:51 PM - 7:51 PM

Why can’t everyone follow the simple steps to help protect yourselves and others. It may be inconvenient but it’s really not that hard!

BernieM January 5, 2021 - 8:08 PM - 8:08 PM

Agreed. Those folks complaining are the same idiots that have no regard for their community. Losers.

Oh, please January 5, 2021 - 10:22 PM - 10:22 PM

You’re right. The people who are at risk should stay home and let everyone else live their lives. It’s really not that hard for them to stay home and protect themselves.

Translation: I’m elderly and need to cower-in-place, therefore everyone else should be required to suffer the same.

PATHETIC

@Anon, sounds like a “Harrison Bergeron” scenario. Kurt Vonnegut was maybe a bit prophetic with that short story. 😉

An inconvenience? You are not paying attention, people are going broke. People are suffering in so many ways, open the schools and outdoor dining!
Newsome is an egotistical and out of touch tyrant.

Living in fear is not living.

SIP isn’t working

Masks aren’t working

I wonder when they are going to announce the stay at home order extension to make it official and for how long they’re expecting this time. another month?… or early spring?…

ZZ January 5, 2021 - 8:55 PM - 8:55 PM

But our great dictator said he had field hospitals ready to go if this happened. Was there an oversight? Did he forget to fill them with medical personnel and medical equipment?

Dusty January 5, 2021 - 9:19 PM - 9:19 PM

Time for some critical thinking beyond “Wear your mask and we can all go back to normal”. Look.

Kim McCarl, Communications Officer for Contra Costa County Health Services: Why are you not responding properly to the John Muir doctors who got fired / reassigned for speaking up? OPEN EVERYTHING BACK UP!!!!!

Hasn’t this been happening since March? Doctors prefer video/phone visits. Only in certain circumstances they will allow to come in for a face to face visit.

The Mamba January 6, 2021 - 6:39 AM - 6:39 AM

What changed between yesterday and today to warrant this? 10 additional COVID patients?

Justifiable languor January 6, 2021 - 7:06 AM - 7:06 AM

Regarding the Pavilion hospital, is it still in operation? Nobody has answered me for six months so I assume it is still in operation and recieving $600,000.00 a month for rental.

sam malone January 6, 2021 - 8:41 AM - 8:41 AM

Start with recalling Newsom. How could it be more simpler?

Captain Bebops January 6, 2021 - 9:15 AM - 9:15 AM

I mentioned a couple weeks ago that Raley’s/Nob Hill was banning reusable bags again and posted signs saying it was a county health order. Looking at the county health order there is no such mention of a ban. Safeway, Walmart and Dollar Tree all allow reusable bags and the funny thing was visiting Nob Hill the other day they have reusable bags on sale again but the signs are still up. I think the CDC several months back determined that reusable bags were no problem.

Oh, please January 6, 2021 - 7:19 PM - 7:19 PM

Wow, are you uninformed.
