PG&E doesn’t pay for anything.

Ratepayers pay, taxpayers pay.

Local, county, state, and federal government agencies pay.

In other words, you and I pay for everything.

Money gets shifted from one pocket to another, percentages are removed for profit and corruption and the only people who lose out are the people who pay, you and me.

Agreed

Cellophane-

Couldn’t agree with you more! It’s like
saying the government is going to give
us money.

You can say that again, Cellophane. Mild, dry weather…and the PG&E bill just received is now the highest bill EVER! And I’ve been in this house for 50 years. Weatherproofed. New furnace. Insulated. Largest bill EVER is almost double usual Dec bill.

You are correct Cellophane. But non govt workers also pay for government workers’ salaries, pensions, vacations, medical ins, their cars, booze, food, you name it.

I wonder why it was 5.5 percent, compared with the prior tax year.

I wonder why it was 5.5 percent ^more^

Might help those putting out company press releases to get out of their echo chamber an see what rate payers paying, I believe are, highest utility rates in the USA feel about their latest chest thumping.

They should look into legally declaring themselves a church to eliminate any property taxes. If the Satanic Temple can pull that off, and they did, I’m sure many would consider them qualified after burning down Paradise, CA.

Reminder: calling PGE a “felon convicted of mass homicide” is a factual and correct description that could be used in a court of law without objection.

@No Excuses…. our current bill is $100 more than last month. Ridiculous

Frustrated 🙂 I got ya beat! My bill went up $132 over Nov. —-Before weatherizing, modernizing and repairing every gap… my highest bill EVER was something just over $200 total…in a very bad winter. I’ve already topped that by a bundle…and winter has not even begun.

hey you wanted it this way

the politicians and power and water and unions have obliged your ludicrous voting skills

no one to blame but yourselves for this democrat run state

just wait when socialism kicks in ….yeah lots of crying then

too bad you wasted being an american citizen with rights and freedoms

those who voted for prop 13
effectively killing off education and producing uneducated simple minds easily manipulated
