Being reported Covid was already here in CA, late December 2019.

“Coronavirus was likely spreading in much of the U.S. last December – weeks before China told the officially recognized the new virus, a new study suggests.

Blood collected by the Red Cross between December 13 and January 17 was later sent to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to be tested for antibodies to coronavirus.

Testing revealed antibodies to the virus that causes COVID-19 in 39 samples from blood donated between December 13 and December 16. Those donations were made in California, Oregon, and Washington.”

In other words, we could double the number of covid patients in ICU and STILL not run our of beds.

May I respectfully observe that once the government limits your freedom, they are loath to restore it after the ‘crisis’ or excuse they used to justify it. In other words, “Those who trade their freedom for safety have neither.”.

This is all you need to know………..

CDC’s survival rate by age

0-19 99.997%
20-49 99.98%
50-69 99.5%
70 + 94.6%

If you are over 70, you are free to order groceries delivered and stay home.

If you are under 70, you are free to get back to normal.

This is the United States of America, NOT Russia, China, Iran or Cuba.

Get over it !

Sorry but I’m almost 74 and I prefer to select the produce I want to eat as well as compare prices and buy wisely. That’s not going to happen ordering online to have groceries delivered. I’m not worried about picking up the virus which is apparently why anyone over 70 is supposed to stay home. How about the other 70+ here?

The U.S is also not Venezuela nor any other Hispanic country but we are slowly but surely becoming like them.
It’s funny how keeping this pandemic “under control” and forcing restrictions on people aren’t considered when riots and destruction are happening. There seems to be a planned opening of the southern border January 2021 without mentioning how that could further spread Covid and break our healthcare system.

My debate coach always said the way to BS numbers is to express them in percentages.. There are around 80 million Americans age 50 to 69. A half percent COVID-19 death rate is 400,000 potential dead Americans.

You may be ok with that Patriot, I’m not.

Isn’t it great though, knowing that 99.97 % of infected people will recover quickly.
With the vaccines which were developed in record time, thanks to President Trump, the odds of survival are even better.

Hooray!! That means over 9.8 million slow, agonizing potential American deaths!

They’ve gotten better at treating it is part of it. It will only become increasingly less deadly as they learn better treatment protocols.

Make sure you go out and buy something made in China. When you can go shopping again. Or maybe order from Walmart. Am I bitter? I guess I am. I am lock up for one of the last years of my life because of Chinese Communists and their stupidity.

Ricardoh, you always nail it. I hope you are okay.

GG Thank you. I am fine just very bored and upset. Not just for me but for the world. For all of the people out of work and the businesses people have put so much work into that are failing or have failed. There are times to turn the other cheek this is not one of them. Not in the face of so much arrogance.

Just heard a rumor that f—ng newsom will make an announcement on Friday regarding the quarantine/shelter in place will be for three weeks. Again it is just a rumor. I am a democrat but considering switching to republican. The idiots really got my blood boiled

Welcome Paul!!

@Paul You’re in luck The deadline for submitting recall petitions for Gavin Newsom has been extended to March. Download and print the Petition from the website. Fill it out, sign it, and return it … either to the address printed thereon, or to one of the locations listed on the website.

I heard a 26 year old woman passed away for Covid in East County after Thanksgiving from a co-worker who has knowledge, how come this isn’t showing up?

I know someone that knows someone that knows someone that knows someone BLAH BLAH BLAH BS!!

What happened in el Cerrito and Lafayette?

My sister was complaining of the lockdown and all. She didnt know anyone personally that had it. Shortly later her daughter, nice and nephew got it (all working adults with zero contact in separate states). Nephew asymptomatic, It got worrisome for her daughter. Her tune about restrictions has changed since.

What happened in lafayette and el Cerrito?

Maybe Medical professionals better understand the protocols for treating the virus based on experience worldwide.
