Jump Sky High trampoline park on Challenge Dr. in Concord has permanently closed.
The business was forced to temporarily close in March, when the COVID-19 pandemic began. It was never able to reopen, and a liquidation auction was held last week to empty the building.
The business only has two locations remaining, including one on the peninsula and one in the state of Illinois.
This is awful. We were supposed to have a birthday party there last March and the lockdown started. Planned on eventually having a party there to make up for it, and now it’ll never happen! I’m so sad to see so many businesses close.

That seems true, Andy. Our family went quite a few times and usually enjoyed it, we even had parts of a couple of birthday parties there, but It did seem like it could’ve been better, though I’m sure sad to hear they’re gone and the stuff is all auctioned off.
Today I learned that “liberals” created and spread a virus that causes years of future issues and possibly death – just to close a trampoline fun zone. Of course this also affects people in France, Australia and South Korea where these “liberals” also hold sway over.
Those damn … “liberals”. Always messing the world up.

Yes Joe, I’m just not sure why it took you so long to catch up on politics. The virus started in communist China, which is on the political Left, so it was Left created by definition. You focus on only one business for stand-up comedy reasons, but I don’t think the millions thrown out of work think you are much funny. There has been a huge amount of economic damage from this Left created monster. It also artificially created an issue the Left could try to win on because Biden wouldn’t even have gotten his relatives to vote for him a year ago.
Well, Joe, while you are being facetious, you are partly right. Most of the “corona deaths” are NOT from corona. They were merely coded as such. THIS is from the literals. As a doctor, I have seen this in action. So, yes. The liberals created this environment of fear and these unnecessary (for most people) lockdowns. The medically fragile should stay home, but everyone else should live their lives.

Ah yes, falling back on the requoting of old Fox News articles to make a point. Nice. Talking about “the left” making it political for no reason and reciting “coded as Covid when it’s not” – would be great points if they actually existed (like those missing Trump votes, amirite?).
The ACTUAL facts are businesses are closing across the WORLD (not just Concord/Clayton, folks) because people aren’t adhering to recommended (now mandatory in some places – oh the Communism!) distancing to ensure BETTER safety across the entire planet. That means some places can’t be open (like say placed where you come in contact with other people and sweat a lot).
Obviously, we all know it’s a “left side trying to destroy the world” thing. Pinky and the Brain would certainly LOVE to see that plot play out .. but unfortunately, real facts – and not the made-up ones you want to recite – are what makes the world go ’round. I’m sorry you can’t distinguish the difference .. but what do I know, I’m just a “leftish sheep in a virus-driving world”. *shrug*

Why aren’t we blaming Bill Gates this time ? As a child he was an aspiring trampolinist, but unfortunately wasn’t good enough to make the Olympic team. Ever since then, he’s hated the trampoline elite. He invented the virus just to close down venues like this.

Businesses are closing across the world because there is a wordlwide conspiracy to create a “great reset” and “new world order”. There are multiple instances of globalist leaders referring to creating a new world order and referring to a great reset speaking publically on the subject of COVID, so this is not a fringe conspiracy it is out in the open.

Remember Wuhan? The people dying out on the streets? The hazmat suits? Well, they’re having sardine-like pool parties while your country dies and while the young kill themselves at unprecedented suicide rates so the old and decrepit with failing health can survive the flu another day.
Or how about when the president of Belarus was offered $940,000,000 by the World Bank and IMF to impose extreme lockdown on his people, impose curfews, and force them to wear masks and declined and his country was thrown into turmoil? (Note the lack of looting and destruction that happened there, compared to here).
Or how about COVID-19 test kits being exported by the world bank in 2017 and 2018?
Or how about states marking deaths with COVID if a subject tested positive for COVID within 60 days, but the deaths are from overdoses and the like?
You’ll figure it out eventually, or maybe you’ll just think what the tv tells you, whichever you do it is way past the time to recognize that fox and cnn are the same thing.
@Googlar – you know EVERYTHING you said is literally the exact opposite of fact, right? A very basic Google search shows how $840 million was declined for Belarus (you should REALLY look up what this was and not assume incorrect things).
There was no 2017/2018 pre-shipment of Covid tests (BBC confirmed the original article was incorrect and was verified by countless other international news agencies).
Wuhan dancing in the streets? The *entire country* of China had eleven (11) new cases on November 28th – did the US have more or less than that? Surely a different number (to ratio) would mean different actions taken for the various people?
Are will you tell us every international news organization is against you and all scientists are on the “liberal payroll” because it goes against the agenda you’re trying to fear-monger online? As you put it, “you’ll figure it out eventually” … though I’m not holding my breath. But this is California. It is supermajority Democratic, and for a lot of races a Republican doesn’t even get on the ballot. Liberals own this state. So yeah, your side does have all the power in this state.

While I’m worried about the pandemic and scared of getting it. The shut downs and kids not going to school is going to cause way more damage.
I agree with Andy. What are they going to do with the elaborate setup? Breaking it down and removing would cost a fortune. Seems like the landlord could pick up the gear for cheap (if not free) and reopen when things clear
It said they had a liquidation sale to empty the building. It can be broke down easily if you know what you are doing, repairs and replacement happen often. The landlord rents the building not buys the business so its easier on tje tenants that leave.
Many fun memories here. Maybe it will open back up eventually like Barnes and noble was able to.
My kids had so many good times here. Very sad to see it go. We have a bigger problem right now-MDUSD needs to reopen at least partially. Even though I feel sad for business owners and our community when I read about businesses closing due to this pandemic, our #1 priority at this point should be getting our kids back to some bit of in-person learning. All of the kids are really suffering, grades are dropping like stones and the mental health of kids (especially middle and high schoolers) is being dramatically affected. My kids are experiencing this and every parent I have talked to is seeing these effects on varying levels. We have been very patient but MDUSD needs to start doing something.
Couldn’t agree more. Yes, it is sad as a parent to see this spot close, and my family had some happy times there. But the #1 priority needs to be getting kids back into physical school. As a society, we need to prioritize this, and subsidize other businesses to close temporarily so teachers and kids can be safe in the classroom.
What a bummer. I loved that place and going with my kids. I think new management just took over like a year ago.

What a horrible thing to say to all the middle class people losing their livelihoods right now. If businesses cannot operate then they cannot be profitable. Right now the middle class is being utterly eviscerated by the Covid lockdowns, which are really achieving nothing.
Sad to see a business fail, especially due to needless lockdowns. Tell every person over 70 to wear a n95 or better, the rest of us should just live our lives.
