Blowing smoke….Newscum and hiding teachers will never allow it.
No need for a meeting the answer is no, the numbers are at an all time high and we’re going backwards in tiers, cancel the meeting and enjoy happy hour
Actually I think things are beginning to take a form.
I appears that we will be distance learning for some time.
So lets look and making some improvements to the situation.
Since the teachers never really even meet the students I would think it would be easy for each teacher to teach maybe 200 students.
Of course they would require a couple of aids to assist them. And those aids could also assist other teachers.
So we should be able to reduce the teacher work force by at least 50%.
Lets close some schools.
They would be great homeless shelters.
This could reduce the homeless population. Great move.
Without a physical school one Principal could easily supervise five schools worth of teachers.
With the proper software one secretary should easily be able to monitor attendance both for teachers and students of numerous schools. In fact, lets just mold many schools into one school.
I recall back in 2005 we were able to reduce our number of payroll clerks in our company by 80% thanks to improved software from Oracle. Payroll actually runs much smoother now.
So lets look to the future.
Reduced costs and more uniform learning.
By the way, my Grandson says he has never even seen one of his teachers on the screen and he has never met her. The work still gets done.
It’s a new world.
Ok school board, I just gave you thousands in cost savings suggestions. Isn’t that you job? To make this run smooth?
Why waste the time? Nothing is gong to change anyway.
There was supposed to be a binding survey this week to see who will send their kids back hybrid in January, vs. 100% distance learn. This obviously needs to change given current circumstances, so they need to discuss.
All they’re doing is playing the commie covid game.
With Brian Lawrence (the conservative hater) in charge, we are never going back. That guy hates republicans or anyone that doesn’t share his socialist views and would prefer their kids never get to return.
As much as I’d like to see everyone back at school, it seems the best thing now would be to say that at this time school will be all online for the current school year. Many would be upset but people will adjust as they have been doing. The uncertainty of maybe opening, maybe not, full time, hybrid etc is more stressful than just saying we’re not going to open.
The whole process has been a grift. These people are horrible humans who don’t have the spine to be transparent nor the common sense to engage reliable advisors in making their decisions.
I can’t watch this continuing to happen to kids.
The current program is NOT working. The number of students with multiple failing grades is increasing as we fail our students. We need to get the kids back in school if they want to go. If they want to stay home, that’s fine, but give an option to learn in class. I believe our entire state has less then 10 deaths for those under 18 from COVID….of course suicides are way up, but no one is reporting that.
