The Bay Area, already under an advisory of strong winds with gusts up to 50 mph through 4 p.m. Sunday, should prepare for frost in some areas overnight, the National Weather Service said.

The NWS Bay Area office issued a frost advisory for Sunday night into early Monday.

Temperatures are forecast to drop to the upper 20s to low- to mid-30s from 3 to 9 a.m. in interior valleys in the North Bay, including Santa Rosa, Napa and Marin counties, and the interior valleys of Monterey and San Benito counties, including the Salinas and Carmel valleys.

“It must be climate change!
.
Quick! Draft up another executive order so I can unilaterally decide what is best for California”

Signed,
Emperor Newsom

I would not be shocked if that actually happened. LOL

Weather and climate are 2 different things 🤦. Climate change has been proven already.

In the 1970s, the “leading scientists” were predicting the next Ice Age to strike in the 1990s.
.
….. and we’re still waiting.
.
Btw, someone tell Mr. Gore that Greenland is still icy.

Solar minimum. Look up the “Maunder Minimum”. They knew this was coming but “global warming” was such a good and scary control op. The mini ice age was predicted by a Berkeley research group in 2003 and the research was sponsored by the Pentagon (who want to know where to put their bases). We even had a sprinkle of rain this afternoon. Who knows maybe it will snow overnight. 😀

Exit 12,Yes Greenland is icy, but some of the glaciers are melting. Greenland is part of my native Denmark. There is a difference between the weather and climate change. As far as I understand it the weather is what happens this week and next, and climate change is what takes place over a long period of time.

@Hanne Jeppessen, you nailed it! Thanks.

Indeed climate change is a trend over time. Probably even during Maunder Minimum there might have been some heat waves lasting a few days. NASA has been studying the effects of these solar cycles since 1989. Unfortunately like covid, climate change has also been politicized. I recall on one radio station the host was excited to have a climate scientist as guest waiting to hear a devastating report on rising CO2 emissions and temps and then the scientist said “well actually 2017 was one of the cooler years in recent records.” 😉

Antler November 9, 2020 - 9:55 AM - 9:55 AM

Hanne, yes! And National Geographic and other scientific sources have determined that Greenland is calfing its enormous bergs so rapidly that in a decade the WORLDWIDE sea level will have risen at least 6 inches. That might not sound like much unless you live on an Outer Bank already enduring high tide overwashes…. or unless you own low country farmland and quality timberland already flooding too often. Homes are being seriously threatened right now!.

Climates change every day throughout the year over and over and over again. It’s called The Weather
First it was called global warming then climate change it’s all just a money making scheme. Clean the floors Newsolini and quit spending our tax dollars on Chinese made PPE

Hanne Jeppesen November 9, 2020 - 6:06 PM - 6:06 PM

Tomato Girl, Read my post, it was not something I came up with, it was from a trusted weatherman. I know if human did not contribute to climate change, nature has a way of changing. My Dad was a Gardner in my native Denmark, he grew potatoes. One year we got frost in June, extremely unusual, my parents got up in the middle of the night and put hay around rows and rows of tomato plants. That was the weather and not man made. I think climate change is real, I’m not educated on the subject enough to say if it is all man made or a combination, I would not be surprised if it was a combination.

To Do List November 8, 2020 - 8:09 PM - 8:09 PM

Bring back the Ford Nucleon, the 1957 concept car powered by uranium fission. It stops global warming in it tracks, but just run like crazy if you are in an accident.

What….no Spare The Air day????
