Peanut Butter Cup. The mini size is great to have around when you want just a bit of something sweet. The minis are also excellent as a cookie baking I ingredient, and also excellent as a topping with a vanilla flavored ice cream.

Candy Corn!
It’s my favorite and my dentist loves to see
me eat large quantities. I just can’t figure out
how something made of sugar can be sweeter
than sugar!
I’m another one who likes Candy Corn and could go through a pound of it at one time. I guess it’s the sweetness of the candy and the fact that you can buy all you want during Halloween.

Nothing I can usually find in the US. It’s a Danish Licorice, soft and salty, shaped like a log, and made with a Scandinavian salt, salmiak. Cost Plus was selling them a few years ago, it is called heksehyl, which means screaming witch. Cost Plus does sell some Australian and Dutch licorice, some salty, but I prefer the ones from Denmark.
As for American Halloween candy M&M’s and the Midnight Milky Way, also Almond Joy with dark chocolate, the last one being my favorite.
The Heksehyl licorice sounds very tasty. I grew
up loving black licorice. My dad’s family all came
from Denmark. I found some you can order- https://www.amazon.com/Toms-Heksehyl-Salmiak-Danish-Licorice/dp/B07JW51KQQ
Do you recall the small concentrated pieces of
licorice that came in a tin called “Helps”.
I had a friend in grade school who’s mom was from the Netherlands. They visited often and they always came back with salty licorice that came in a tin, but I can’t remember the name. I can’t say I understood it, but it was good and we ate it. I’ve never come across it anywhere even in the Netherlands, but I was only there a few days. I’d like to try the Heksehyl licorice too.
SNICKERS
Oh man, favorite? I have a few….Kit Kat, Milky Way, Swedish Fish, Haribi Gummis….The fun of trick or treating is the combo of candy you get 🍭🍬🍫
Almond Joy.
Chocolate.
Gummy bears
Trail mix
Dark chocolate
Yes Kits were just like bb bats. I love Kits.
Mary Janes, but only if they’re fresh. I would say Clark bars but the original ones are long gone, Fifth Avenues will work in a pinch.
My favorite is Twix, but when I think of Halloween candy I think of snickers and m&ms

Butterfinger or Baby Ruth
Peanut Butter Cup hands down.
The
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Nestle Crunch
Snickers
