One person is dead after a vehicle pursuit in Concord involving the Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff.
The incident started just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday when the suspect, who is also believed to be the deceased person, fled from officers on hwy.242 in Concord.
The suspect ended up crashing into a wall and fleeing the vehicle on foot near hwy.242/hwy.4.
The Office of the Sheriff has not released further information, including details on how the person died.
It appears no officers were injured in the incident.
The Office of the Sheriff said more information will be released on Thursday.
