Contra Costa County To Begin Offering Free Flu Shots At COVID Testing Sites

Starting today, Contra Costa County will begin offering free flu shots to people who come in for COVID testing at several testing sites in Contra Costa.

“We want to make it as easy as possible for people to get their flu shots this year,” said Dr. Chris Farnitano, Contra Costa County’s health officer. “Offering flu vaccine at COVID testing sites will let people cross two things off their to-do list at once.”

Flu season in the Bay Area tends to peak in January or February, but it can be unpredictable – which is why it’s best to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

County health officials also recommend that essential workers and others with frequent close contact with people outside their own household get tested once a month for COVID, even if they don’t have symptoms.

I’ll say no to both those offers…

My friends arm is still swollen from his shot last year and, now they have a nasal spray method of application. My friend still got sick. I didn’t get the shot an I did not get sick.

“people cross two things off their to-do list at once”
So don’t they tell you not to get a flu shot if you suspect you have the flu or not feeling well? Isn’t Covid a “tricky” virus and you don’t always have symptoms? So why would you get a flu shot if you MIGHT have Covid?
Oh that’s right, CCC health officials know what they’re doing..

Flu Shot + Covid19 = Recipe for disaster. Research virus interference with the flu shot, which is useless poison on it’s own and deadly when challenged with Covid.
Everyone I know who gets the flu shot, gets sick. Everyone I know who doesn’t get the flu shot, doesn’t get sick.
Don’t fall for the fear mongering.
Vitamin D
Vitamin C
Zinc
No sugar
Filtered water
No GMOs
Eat organic when possible
Get fresh air (good luck with that)
Get moving. Walk daily if you cannot otherwise exercise
Laugh
Have a positive outlook – try to cull one even in these time.
These will all work better than any vaccine.

I second your sentiment. The flu shot I received from the Army made me the sickest I have been in my life.

Stay away from shots and vaccines and the Big Pharma machine. Go for sunlight and veggies instead.

Yes! This is exactly what needs to be focused on, a healthy lifestyle

Absolutely! Germ theory vs Terrain theory.

Germ theory: You have a fish tank with dirty water, better vaccinate the fish instead of CLEANING THE WATER!!!

I won’t be taking any experimental vaccines, nor will I be LOWERING my immunity with a toxic vaccine.
People need the read the insert and warnings.

Hey, why not. Your chance of actually getting a flu shot with the correct strain of flu that pops up this year is already astronomical, so I say, play the lottery AND get the shot and see which one you win! Oh, and even in they NAIL the strain this year, you only have a 40% chance at not getting sick anyway.

Ever wonder why the pharmaceutical companies launched a flu “season” in the first place? Slow time of year I suppose.

I woulld rather sit at home and do my own shots🥃🥃 86 all the proof I need.

Heck no! I would not want to get a flu shot after seeing what it did to my brother for a year. Now it has come to my attention, that those who received the flu shot are at a higher risk of getting the Democrat Virus-19. .

No thanks I’m willing to take a risk.

After a horrible bout with the flu in 1996 (and I mean horrible, I passed out while on the toilet, slithering to the floor and conking my head on the way down) I’ve received a flu shot every year since! I actually just got this year’s injection yesterday! Yes, my arm is a little tender, but that’s nothing compared to being felled by a flu bug!!

Keep your toxin-filled needles to yourself. I’ve had enough of hospitals and drugs to last me a lifetime. Thanks for the offer, but I respectfully decline.

My friends mother got the flu shot last Friday and passed away later that night. I also know of someone who was paralyzed after getting the flu shot. I post this because people should be aware of what the flu shot is capable of. Please be careful everyone
