Slow down! And wear your seatbelt.

May her memory be a blessing.

How tragic. Probably on her way to work. Prayers lifted to her, her family and friends. God Bless.

Or coming home after working the night shift. Either way, very sad. My heart goes out to her family and friends. I’m sure she will be missed.

Need to pay attention on the road and stay off your phone. Those big rigs take a long time to stop so she had plenty of time to react. Unfortunate for her.

sometimes accidents happen that are no ones fault, unfortunate chain of events. People died in car accidents long before cell phones. Maybe it makes you feel better to think she was on her phone or that it must have been something she did. But we have all very close calls while being careful.

My husband comes through there around then every day. He pointed out you are essentially blind by the angle of the sun on that stretch at that time. We shouldn’t assume the worst, it could be just a tragic accident.

@Hill, very well said.

Guess Stove is clarvoant. He/she knows exactly what happened.

Traveling East bound on 4, at that time of the morning, the sun was most likely in her eyes, which can be blinding.

CHP traffic log shows a pretty long response time, 19 minutes.

I was coming home from work, right after it happened, the car ran into the rear of the tanker truck. Sun could have played a factor. It was in the far right 2 lanes.

I’d say “Do the Math”, but seems some people are offended by it….

Actually, My sympathy to all……..

If you comment requires you use any of the following:
“I think”
“Probably”
“It’s likely”
“I bet”
“Usually”
“I wonder”
“Maybe”
“Generally”

Then you are just guessing!! Why not wait for the experts and witnesses to post real information.
