End the medical tyranny now! It’s illegal.
Not sure I’m taking legal advice from Claycord Sam. Where did you go to law school?
There is no advice included in my post. Just facts. The tyranny being used against the people of California is illegal.
🇺🇸18 U.S. Code § 242. Deprivation of rights under color of law
Whoever, under color of any law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom, willfully subjects any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or to different punishments, pains, or penalties, on account of such person being an alien, or by reason of his color, or race, than are prescribed for the punishment of citizens, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if bodily injury results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include the use, attempted use, or threatened use of a dangerous weapon, explosives, or fire, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.
Unfortunately Sam, it is technically legal.
The California Emergency Services Act (ESA) allows the governor broad powers during the a declaration of emergency. This includes the reversing of law, applying new ones without the normal oversight that would occur. It is supposed to be limited to 30 days, but the goon Newscum on day 1 overwrote that bullet point … funny how the fool knew on day 1 of his declaration that it would go beyond 30 days – almost like it was a political statement he was trying to make, but I digress.
So yes, the fool in the office of governor has the authority because of the misuse and abuse of the CA ESA.
Exactly what “rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution” are you being deprived of?
It can and will be demonstrated that the ESA was used illegally to begin with. The required circumstances to declare an emergency did not exist and have not existed at any point. Therefore the state of emergency is illegal. Hence my use of the words tyranny and illegal.
@doh that would be the 1st amendment for starters
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
He tried further infringement on 2nd amendment
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Prohibiting businesses opining with revoking state licensing would be covered in the 4th amendment
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
Further to that, by attacking Californians safety and security needs, the human need to feel safe and secure in your person, he presents a psychological threat to their mental health. Safety and security needs are foundational to all other human needs. During cult indoctrination, EST. Scientology, People’s Temple, Sufism, and others, the individual is striped of everything that constitutes their self-protection and security to reconstruct their personality in a manner suitable for cult membership.
Science is not made of opinions.
You have the tight to deny science but you won’t be respected.
That’s the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Of course “science” is made of opinions. It’s called scientific theory for a reason. Some of you desperately need a basic education.
So this is what we are up against folks. People who don’t even understand basic sh*t. It’s is astounding to me the arrogance of people who literally know nothing.
There are a lot of people being deprived of the right to make a living. They can’t opening their businesses. Many of those businesses have already gone under, More will follow.
Has there been another time in the history of our country has a government ordered people not to open their businesses with the threat of losing their licenses? My hairdresser told me that if she opened, she would lose her cosmetology license forever. Forever.
How is it we’ve gotten to the place where the government is picking winners and losers? Large businesses like Walmart, Target and Home Depot remain open, while small businesses have been closed for over four months, forced to close and remain closed by the government. Deprived of their right to make a living, and deprived of the investment of time, effort and money that they’ve invested in those businesses. those things can never be recovered. Deprived of the ability to make a living and support their families, and their employees thereby deprived of their jobs.
But it’s all OK because the government said so.
Thank you Sam! On the money.
That’s a cute trick. I was born at Mt Diablo hospital. Graduated Mt Diablo high school. I am this community. Reprehensible you think someone is a troll for quoting the constitution. I have a sneaking suspicion @me is not part of our country. What kind of American is offended by the constitution?…a traitor that’s what kind
Science is never “settled.” A discovery tomorrow could change something that was decided yesterday. Scientific theories, discoveries, and experiments are published and must be reviewed by peers, those engaged in the same field of study sometimes working on identical problems, and take years to reach any conclusions, if at all. Most of science is theoretical with scientists devoted to proving or disproving a small theory or combination of theories in a massive field of study.
This has been labeled a “novel” virus– a new virus, in other words — and science does not know how to treat it. They are flying blind, so to speak, and experimenting with strategies which apparently Newsom is all onboard with. The statistics show, however, that either mistakes have been made as to the nature of the effects of the virus, or something else is going on with Newsom’s dictates in how it is being handled. In the meantime, our civil rights have been trounced for an emergency that doesn’t look like it was such a emergency after all.. And, since he came into office as arrogant as can be before this so-called emergency, it leaves us no other choice but to be suspicious of his motives which aren’t looking too virtuous right now.
COVID-19 shouldn’t be labeled as ‘just an old person’s disease’, that’s for sure. The 19-30 year old age group has the highest percentage of all time COVID-19 cases in CoCo County, followed by the 31-40 year old age group.
SF Chron article in today’s paper stated average age of hospitalized COVID-19 patients currently in SF General is 41 years old.
However, the largest group fatally affected is over 60 years old. 61 of 98 deaths were in the 81+ age group. Only 1 person under age 50 has died. So continuing to keep everything locked up and schools closed is insane.
@Chuckie’s Wife – it’s insane unless you want to slow the spread of the disease so we do not overwhelm the hospitals and avoid economic collapse. Keep in mind that the 65+ crowd has the highest percent of disposable income. If they dont feel comfortable going out… well our economy starts to fall apart.
You’re not taking into account the many young people who end up with scar tissue and organ issues after the disease. And the hospital number is important. Would you want to be working in one of the overcrowded hospitals right now? Tho staff is suffering! If you get it, you should be one that they don’t admit because there is no room. Chuck Woolery learned his lesson and is quiet now.
Hospitals are not overcrowded in CCC. The vast majority that is infected recovers without any issues. Heck, most people who get it have no symptoms at all. Sad for those who do, but it’s still insane to lock everything up tight, when 94+ percent of the population is not infected.
I am so disappointed in Chuck Woolery. He is usually full of profound and wise advice thanks to his career hosting the Dating Game. Gettem next time Chuck.
We’ve all pretty much lost our lives and livelihoods out of fear of:
@Mary actually cases are distributed across all ages pretty close to the distribution of age for the population in total. The median age in CC County is 40 years old so we should expect to see half of all cases in groups below 40.
@Dan~

Our economy is NOT being held up by our 65 and over generation and their disposable income spending…quite the contrary…they are on a fixed income. Check out U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics
It would be Interesting to know what exactly the “younger“ 28 people died from. Recent news reports say that if a person was killed in a car accident but had previously recovered from COVID-19, they would still be counted as a COVID-19 death.
This is ridiculous, and skews the numbers to make the death rate look much worse than it actually is.
@Weppin: “Recent news reports say that if a person was killed in a car accident but had previously recovered from COVID-19, they would still be counted as a COVID-19 death.”
How about telling us what trusted news sources came out with those so-called ‘news reports’ ? Or did you just hear it from someone who claims to have seen it somewhere?
Anon 2
Try this one …
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/florida-health-official-admits-man-who-died-in-motorcycle-crash-listed-as-coronavirus-death
He died in the motorcycle accident … listed as a COVID death statistic.
I can find more examples if you like … but know these are only the ones published on line, and am willing to bet a years salary that there are more out there.
Many didn’t realized.. True the death rate for under 60 year gold is low. but
This Virus can weakened alot of your organs and you might get infected for a second time.
If you got sick because of this, lung capacity will be reduced by average of 20%. your body won’t be the same anymore.
Please wear mask, social distancing, SIP and all.

Deborah Brix said “If they think you might have had covid-19 at the time of death even without diagnosis (probable case) or if you die WITH Covid-19 and not FROM Covid-19, those deaths would be counted as a Covid -19 death.” Look it up on the CDC website, it is there in black and white. I don’t get why people think others aren’t smart enough to research the information and treat them as liars or conspiracy theorists.
All these new cases might be false positives or are positive for coronavirus, just not Covid-19, it could be a different coronavirus like THE COMMON COLD! That information is on the CDC website too.
See link below. I have included the text from the
Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
2020 Interim Case Definition, Approved April 5, 2020.
**Please note there is no criteria for distinguishing a new case from an existing case, this is another reason the case numbers are going up.**
And please people look up academic articles about studies, done prior to 2020, on the efficacy of cloth and surgical masks in preventing viral transmission.
Its funny that they say cloth masks might be actually be a breeding ground for viruses and bacteria. That they do not prevent viral transmission. And masks are not meant to be worn for extended periods of time. Even surgical masks should be changed every 30 minutes or when damp.
But if you look at studies done 2020 they tell a different tale.

If you buy these numbers as accurate I have an ocean front property in New Mexico I am looking to sell. Let me know if you’re interested.
A lot of ESL, but no facts.
1.1 million people In contra costa county and only 98 deaths. Where is the pandemic? Keep in mind this could be a wrong number because I just had freinds family members die of a heart attack and was written down as a COVID 19 death! Stop the lies and stop trying to scare the country. This is absolutely insane why not talk about how easily it is to recover from this minor flu.
Minor flu, for some yes for other not. How about the 41 year old Broadway actor who died after fighting the virus for 3 months, he is just one of many. One of the after effects is that it damage the lungs, several cases. How about what it going on in Florida and Texas right now, minor flu. I don’t think so.
I know you are not interested in this, but Dan and other reasonable posters here might be. Google this article: Covid 19 and Denmark, Big Lessons from a small country by David Olagnier and Trine Mogensen.
80-90% of cases are mild. It’s people with underlying health issues that are struggling. The number one comorbidity (over 40%) is obesity. Tell me people can’t lose weight, and I’ll tell you you’re wrong. 2/3 of American is overweight or obese. Focus on your own health and lessen your chances. It really is that simple.
Reasonable or paranoid?
Nick Cordero, the Broadway star, was put on a ventilator, that’s what ruined his lungs and killed him. Same procedure unnecessarily killed many others before medical realized it.
The rising numbers in Florida turned out to be false. There are lies coming out of Texas and Arizona also. High percentage of Comorbidities in Italy. CDC admitted to falsifying numbers. Positive cases being counted multiple times. Deaths FROM, deaths WITH being counted. It’s completely unreliable.
If everyone was tested during the flu season the numbers would be high too. No virus has ever been tested at this capacity. It’s ridiculous. You can’t run from viruses. They will always be around.
People are losing their damn minds over this political, social experiment.
“80-90% of cases are mild.” – @Kentucky Derby, provide scientific background to support your claim. But then again you are one who thinks the COVID-19 virus can be shaked off by taking a viatmin, losing weight, and eating better. Isn’t that what you’ve said? Tell that to all of the people who will for the rest of their lives suffer severe morbidity issues with organ and brain damage from COVID-19. Tell that to people like me who have lost relatives, not obese. Mid 50s.
You, Kentucky Derby, are one of the non-mask wearing psychos who is exacerbating this Pandemic into an era it wouldn’t have to be. But you, and the likes of you, espouse your non-mask wearing, just take a vitamin, nonsense diarrhea of the mouth.
You, Kentucky Derby, should be ashamed of yourself. Ashamed! Now go on and go and crawl into your non-ask wearing hole, because you ain’t going to be shopping or going to the Dr or other places without your mask, Honey.
You deserve zero respect, and the likes of you fuel the horrible problem we now face. An unnecessary problem if we would all wear a facial covering in public and social distance.; shelter in place when possible As in really simple stuff. Mary Fouts
What Mary Fouts said.
Yo Mary
80% are mild
https://www.healthline.com/health-news/what-its-like-to-survive-covid-19
https://www.singlecare.com/blog/news/coronavirus-symptoms-and-incubation-period/
Mild = Low-grade fever (not more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit)
Dry cough
Fatigue
Sore throat
Headache
New loss of taste and smell
Moderate = Fever of about 101-102 degrees Fahrenheit

Severe =
Shortness of breath, even when you’re not exerting yourself
Chest discomfort
Confusion/unresponsiveness
Bluish face/lips (a sign you’re not getting enough oxygen)
Possible gastrointestinal issues, like diarrhea or nausea. This is present in up to 10-20% of severe cases. (please note this is not 10-20% of the COVID cases, this is 10-20% of Severe patients)
The website above says
Mild to moderate: 81%
Severe: 14%
Critical: 5%
From the CDC
85+ 10%-27%
65-84 years 3%-11%
55-64 years 1%-3%
20-54 years <1%
19 and younger No fatalities reported
Mary Fout’s – You’re a paranoid pita. I’ve been wearing a mask since before it was mandatory.
“Obesity a major risk factor for Covid-19 Hospitalization”
John Hopkins cardiologist David Kass discusses a recent study he co-led that links higher body mass index to SEVERE cases of Covid-19 and points to OBESITY as a SIGNIFICANT pre-existing condition in younger patients in particular.
There are several articles discussing obesity and Covid 19. If you’re overweight – lose the weight.
Americans don’t take care of their health. They smoke, drink too much, do drugs, overeat, refuses to exercise, eat unhealthy and they have no one to blame but themselves for their poor health.
I’m in excellent health because of good genes and healthy lifestyle.
I am not convinced institutional medicine is the end-all for treating covee19 or even overall health. HQC has been used successfully. Under a doctors guidance (not a clock punching favored knome) has been a life saver.
Gnome. Geeze my auto check is a worse speller than me!
@Kentucky, easy for you to say maybe because you can lose weight easily? Science has identified “thrifty eaters” who have difficulty losing weight even if they lower food intake and exercise more. However there are also the “fit fat” people who also have strong immune systems and would not be at risk. Like always, there is a lot of nuance in this.
Captain – I don’t “lose weight easily.” I never gain it to be begin with, and it’s a strong battle on a daily basis. I can’t eat whatever I want and not gain weight. I do agree that you can be fit and slightly overweight if you exercise regularly.
I’m sure losing weight is hard for some the same way quitting smoking, drinking, drugs, etc. But some of us believe in personal responsibility Too many people abuse their bodies, and they don’t get it until it’s too late.
You are what you eat.
Doesn’t that list of symptoms just about cover every kind of discomfort known to mankind from eating something that upsets your stomach to advanced stages of cancer? Maybe even including hypochondria?

140,000 died from it in just America. Get facts from real doctors and wear a mask.
So Doh
what part of my quote do you not like? If you open your eyes, you will find similar information on the CDC website, or is that not a trusted resource either?
Tough to have someone present facts to you that you do not like … isn’t it? So why don’t you wake up and smell the coffee dude/dudet/whatever?
So how is wearing a face mask beneficial to the state? What’s the political motivation to create a pandemic? If you say money and power i agree. But if you think its motivated by mony and power why wouldn’t this patent disease be very real?
The reason Denmark faired well and now are almost back to normal is they closed everything down early, being that the Danes are more trusting of their government and more concerned about the fellow citizen, they almost to a teeth followed the government guidelines. Now I know that does not sit well in the US especially right now, but there is something to be said for that. Having said that, Denmark had a few advantage that the US and some other countries don’t have. We only have one border (Germany), we are surrounded by water, it is not a densely populated country, like for instances Holland. Before everyone start to be critical of the “community spirit” remember that was the same spirit, that got most of the Danish Jews to Sweden and safety before Gestapo could arrest them. Also when after the was many returned and found out that there houses, businesses was inact, no one had looted, or stolen stuff. To be fair don’t know if that would be the case today, but it was back then.
Geez Hanne…. it sounds like you’re referring to the superiority of Danes or perhaps the purity of race in Denmark as being one of the reasons (as well as it’s remote location) that your country and it’s people fared as well as they did under Nazi occupation. Let’s also remember that the Nazis allowed Denmark to retain their Government as long as they continued to collaborate with them and discourage any resistance movement. “community spirit” Yay!
Remember. The top health officials, Fauci and Pelosi (among others) sneered at thought of staying home. The beginning stages of discovering the pandemic. Back when China lied and the WHO was fully complicit in hiding the facts. Thumps “advisor” operatives were in full operation trying to set him up, make him look bad and publishing world wide lies about EVERY thing he supposedly said and did in attempt to run him out of DC.
No I’m not claiming superiority of anyone. I think because we are a small country we have more of a community spirit. We did not fare well under the occupation, people lived in fear, we had a strong underground from almost the beginning, and the government only co-operated so a certain extend. Eventually Gestapo took over the job the Danish police force was during, (I think it was 1943) and things got very unpleasant. (My parent hid a police officer wanted by Gestapo for 6 months). All I ever heard my family say was “What horrible time it was”. Many Jews have commented to me they were grateful how the Danes protected their fellow countrymen. It is something I’m proud of, but being proud is not the same as feeling superior. I could also say I’m proud of the spirit of the American people during the war, even though I came here a good 20 years later, I have read enough about it to understand it.
My memory of the Nazi occupation seems to recall the Danes became some of the highest ranking members of the Nazi Party. They were
considered the “purest” for all the reasons Hanne states. Correct me if I’m wrong, but Danes were allowed to keep their own government because the principles were in alignment with those promoted in Nazi Germany.
The United States was founded on rebellion and rebellion in various forms have dominated its history ever since. It is that rebellion, its history, and its symbols that are being destroyed by those who simply want to do away with the freedoms we enjoy because they are threatening to its movement. The American Revolution, the Civil War, and many other events in United States history were fought out of the need to rebel against oppression.
Justifiable languor’s comment is so true, “It is not merely ironic that foreigners who have gone to the trouble of immigration, proceed to reject the host country culture.” We see it again, and again. Foreigners seem to want to eliminate the culture they have escaped to, and reconstruct the one they left behind. Many don’t bother to give up their cultural trappings, dress, philosophy, associations, religion, etc., and assimilate, instead. They want to replicate their own culture here, whether or not its principles are in conflict with those granted us by the Constitution.
@gittyup 🏆
Thank you, Sam.
The German’s described the Dane’s as their little brother, the Danes NEVER felt that way. Every country had their Quisling.
I have lived in this country for over 50 years and it is my adopted country. My love for my birth country does not diminish my love for the US. Same l would imagine if you have more than 1 child you love them all. but perhaps in a different way.
@Hanne I don’t have children and I was born here. I don’t have what could only be called divided loyalties like you, apparently.
What about loving 2 countries, but perhaps in a different way don’t you understand. I have been here more than 50 years, I was married to an American, my daughter and grandchildren are American. I had several opportunities to return to Denmark if I so wished, but I stayed here.
I meet many American’s that live in Calfornia, but perhaps they grew up in a different state, like my ex husband, who grew up in Wisconsin, most have affection for the both states. I don’t think it is so hard to understand.
As for your assertion that a Danish politician was a Nazi, you are confusing him with the Norwegian Quisling, who was a politician and in the military, however majority of Norwegians did not agree with him and he was hanged by the Norwegian government in 1945.
