Thanks to Peter for the video of this afternoon’s grass fire on Market St. near Hwy.242 in Concord.

The blaze was extinguished.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

I smelt it from Oakmont Memorial Park but I didn’t seen’t it. 😀

I have a friend who works for a fire department here in Contra Costa County and he told me most of the fires they go on these days are caused by the homeless.

Absolutely true. And we can thank a certain segment of the population for encouraging the homeless to explode upon our city. These encampments put EVERYONE in danger.

I saw it start, right under the little palm tree.
The wind took it from there.

And why you didn’t turn it off???😞
